It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Thanks of this House shall be, and is hereby, given to the Lord Bishop of Ely, for his Sermon preached Yesterday, before this House, in the Abbey Church at Westminster; and he is hereby desired to print and publish the same.

Shore versus Billingsley.

Upon reading the Petition of Charles Ballet Gentleman, and Francis Gregg Gentleman; shewing, "That the Lady Shore having appealed to this House, against several Orders and Decrees made in the Court of Chancery, on the Behalf of Lewis Billingsley Esquire, and he being ordered to answer on the First Day of December; and that the said Lewis Billingsley is now in Their Majesties Service in Flander s; and that the Petitioners are served with the said Order, they having been Sollicitor and Clerk in the Court of Chancery; the Petitioners dare not take upon them to defend the said Appeal, or put in an Answer thereunto, without the particular Order of the said Lewis Billingsley:"

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Lewis Billingsley hath hereby Time given him to answer the said Appeal, until Monday the One and Twentieth Day of December next, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon.

Legh versus Aspinall.

Upon hearing Counsel this Day at the Bar, upon the Petition and Appeal of Richard Legh Esquire, John Case, Thomas Cooke, and others, Defendants, in a Cause lately depending in the High Court of Chancery, wherein Gilbert Aspinall Esquire was Plaintiff against them; both from a Decree made the Twenty-seventh Day of May, One Thousand Six Hundred Ninety-one, by the Lords Commissioners for the Custody of the Great Seal of England, whereby they reversed a former Dismission and Decree, obtained by the Petitioners in Michaelmas Terme, 3° Jacobi Secundi; and also from a subsequent Order, whereby the Petitioners and the Tenants of the Estate in Question are ordered to bring their Rents into the Court of Chancery; as also upon the Answer of Gilbert Aspinall Esquire put in to the said Petition:

After due Consideration had of what was offered by Counsel on either Side thereupon, it is this Day ORDERED and Adjudged, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Decree and subsequent Order of the Court of Chancery, complained of in the Petition and Appeal of the said Richard Legh, John Case, Thomas Cooke, and others, shall be, and are hereby, reversed; and that the Dismission and Decree in the said Petition and Appeal, mentioned to be reversed by the Lords Commissioners of the Great Seal of England, shall be, and is hereby, affirmed.

Stringer et al. to attend.

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That William Stringer Esquire, Mr. Edward Beale, and Mrs. Anne Smith, do attend this House, as Witnesses, on Tuesday next, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon, in the Cause wherein Richard Wareing is Plaintiff, and Sir John Plate and his Wife are Defendants.

L. Keveton and Captain Martin to attend.

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That Peregrine Lord Keveton and Captain Martin do attend this House, on Saturday the Fifth Day of December next, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon; and that Captain Gillam do then also attend, if he be returned from Sea by that Time.

Regulating Trials for Treason, Bill.

Then the House was adjourned during Pleasure, and put into a Committee, upon the Bill, intituled, "An Act for regulating of Trials in Cases of Treason."

The House was resumed.

And the Lord Viscount Weymouth reported, "That the Committee had made some Progress in the Bill; and desire another Day may be appointed, to proceed on this Bill."

It is ORDERED, That the House shall be put into a Committee, to proceed on this Bill, on Tuesday next, at Twelve of the Clock; and that all the Judges do attend the House at that Time.

ORDERED, That all the Judges do attend this House on Tuesday next, at Twelve of the Clock; at which Time the House will proceed upon the Bill, intituled, "An Act for regulating of Trials in Cases of Treason."
