E. of Bristol Privilege.

The House being informed, "That one William Turner Gentleman, with one Hadesly Green an Attorney, and Philip Trehorne a Bailiff, did with Carts and Servants (fn. 1) open and break the Locks, and carry away the Hay and several Lords of Stones and Dung off the Land of the Right Honourable the Earl of Bristoll a Peer of this Realm, contrary to the Privilege of the said Earl and Privilege of Parliament:"

Turner, Green, & al. sent for, for carrying away Stones, Dung, &c.

It is thereupon ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said William Turner, Hadesly Greene Attorney, and Philip Trehorne, be, and are hereby, required to attend this House on Tuesday next, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon, to answer for their so doing; and thereof they may not fail, as they will answer the contrary at their Perils.

Marlborough to prevent thatching Houses in, Bill.

The Lord Cornwallis reported from the Committee, the Bill, intituled, "An Act to prohibit the covering of Houses and other Buildings with Thatch or Straw, in the Town of Marlborough, in the County of Wilts," as fit to pass, without any Amendment.

The Question being put, "Whether this Bill shall pass into a Law?"

It was Resolved in the Affirmative.

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That this House will hear the said Cause, by Counsel on both Sides, at the Bar, on Monday next, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon.

Court of Chancery, &c. for reforming Abuses in, Bill.

After having heard this Day Mr. Serjeant Thompson at the Bar, as also the Two Lords Chief Justices and Lord Chief Baron, concerning the Bill, intituled, "An Act for regulating several Abuses in the Court of Chancery and other Courts of Equity:"

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That this House will hear all the other Judges concerning the said Bill on Friday next, at Eleven of the Clock in the Forenoon.
