ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Gentleman Usher of the Black Rod do forth with attach the Body of the Lady Frances Halford, and bring her in safe Custody to the Bar of this House, to answer for her Contempt, in refusing to obey the Orders of this House; and this shall be a sufficient Warrant on that Behalf.

To Sir Thomas Duppa, Gentleman Usher of the Black Rod, his Deputy and Deputies, and every of them, and to all Mayors, Sheriffs, Bailiffs, Constables, and other Their Majesties Officers, to be aiding and assisting in the Execution hereof.

Hodie 1a vice lecta est Billa, "An Act to prohibit the covering of Houses and other Buildings with Thatch or Straw; in the Town of Marlborough, in the County of Wilts."

Aid to Their Majesties, Bill.

Hodie 3a vice lecta est Billa, "An Act for granting an Aid to Their Majesties, of Sixteen Hundred Fiftyone Thousand Seven Hundred and Two Pounds, Eighteen Shillings."

The Question was put, "Whether this Bill shall pass into a Law?"

It was Resolved in the Affirmative.

A Message was sent to the House of Commons, by Sir Miles Coke and Doctor Edsbury:

Hartstonge versus Lloyd.

Upon Report from the Lords Committees for Petitions, "That they have considered the Petition of Sir Standish Harstonge Baronet, being an Appeal from a Decree made the last Day of Hearings after last Trinity Terme in the Exchequer Chamber, in a Cause wherein Lewis Lloyd was Plaintiff, and the Petitioner Defendant; who think fit to report the same specially, in regard the said Sir Standish Harstonge hath not yet brought his Bill of Review in the Court of Exchequer:"

After Consideration had thereof, it is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Lewis Lloyd and John Weaver, in the Petition complained of, may have a Copy of the said Appeal; and be, and are hereby, required to put in their Answers thereunto in Writing, on Tuesday the Eighteenth Day of this Instant November, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon; whereof the Petitioner is to cause Notice to be given to the Respondents, to the End they answer accordingly.

Clarke versus Baden.

Upon reading the Petition of Robert Baden; praying, "That a Day may be appointed for hearing the Appeal depending in this House, wherein he is Defendant, and Edmond Clerke Esquire is Plaintiff:"

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That this House will hear the said Cause, by Counsel on both Sides, at the Bar, on Saturday the 15th Instant, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon.

Broomhall versus Johnson.

Upon reading the Petition of Henry Johnson; shewing, "That, upon a Petition preferred to this House by the now Appellant, Yesterday was appointed for hearing of the Cause wherein Thomas Broomhall is Plaintiff, and the Petitioner Defendant; and that the Plaintiff hath not entered into Recognizance, as he ought to do; and praying that the said Appeal may be dismissed:"

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That if the said Thomas Broomhall the Infant, by his Guardian, shall not enter into Recognizance on or before Tuesday next, that then the said Appeal shall be dismissed this House; whereof the said Henry Johnson is to cause Notice to be given to the said Thomas Bromhall, by his Guardian or his Clerk in Chancery; to the End he enter into Recognizance accordingly.

Pope versus De Casseris.

Upon hearing Counsel this Day at the Bar, upon the Petition of Charles Pope, being an Appeal from a Decree made by the Lords Commissioners of the Great Seal of England, on the Behalf of Francisco de Casseris; as also upon the Answer of the said Francisco De Casseris put in thereunto:

After due Consideration had of what was offered by Counsel on either Side thereupon, it is ORDERED and Adjudged, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Petition and Appeal of Charles Pope be, and is hereby, dismissed this House; and that the Decree complained of in the said Petition and Appeal made by the Lords Commissioners of the Great Seal of England be, and is hereby; affirmed.

Foden versus Farrington.

Upon reading the Petition of Edward Foden; praying a Day may be appointed for hearing his Cause depending in this House, whereunto John Farrington is Respondent:

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That this House will hear the said Cause, by Counsel on both Sides, at the Bar, on Tuesday the Eighteenth Instant, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon; whereof the Petitioner is to cause Notice to be given to the Respondent, to the End he attend with his Counsel accordingly.

Huddlestone versus Monsey & al. Tenants of Matterdale.

Upon reading the Petition of Andrew Huddleston; praying a Day may be appointed for hearing his Cause depending in this House, to which William Monsey and others the Tenants of Matterdale are Respondents:
