ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That this House shall proceed in the Consideration of Lieutenancy and Militia of the City of London, on Friday next, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon; and that all Persons attending have Notice then to attend this House.

Chipping Wicomb Pet. against the Paper Bill.

A Petition was offered to the House, of the Mayor, Aldermen, and other Inhabitants, of Chipping Wickombe, in the County of Bucks, against the Bill, intituled, "An Act for the encouraging and better establishing the Manufacture of White Paper in this Kingdom."

It is ORDERED, That the said Petition shall be read, before the Second Reading of the said Bill.

Law Practice, of, Bill for regulating.

ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the House shall be put into a Committee on Monday next, to proceed upon the Bill, intituled, "An Act for the Benefit of the Subject, in relation to the Practice and Execution of the Law."

Bill to restore the City of London to its Privileges, and for reversing a Judgement against it.

The Order for the Business of the Day was read, for putting the House into a Committee upon the Bill, intituled, "An Act for reversing a Judgement in a Quo Warranto against the City of London, and for restoring the City of London to its ancient Rights and Privileges."

The House was adjourned during Pleasure, and put into a Committee upon the said Bill.

And, after some Time spent therein, the House was resumed.

And the Earl of Nottingham reported, "That the Committee had gone through the Bill, without any Amendment."

Then this Question was put, "Whether the House shall be now adjourned?"

It was Resolved in the Negative.

Then,

3a vice lecta est Billa, "An Act for reversing the Judgement in a Quo Warranto against the City of London, (fn. 1) to its ancient Rights and Privileges."

The Question being put, "Whether this Bill shall pass?"

It was Resolved in the Affirmative.

Message to H. C. that the Lords have passed it.

A Message was sent to the House of Commons, by Sir Miles Cooke and Sir William Lacon Childe:

To let them know, the Lords have passed the said Bill, without any Amendments.

Tables of Fees in the Courts of Westminster Hall.

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Lords Commissioners of the Great Seal of England, and the Judges in the several Courts in Westminster Hall, do take Care, and give Order, that the several Tables of Fees belonging to them, or any Officers whatsoever, unto the said Courts or any of them belonging, be hung up in the said Courts and Offices, there to remain; to the End all Persons concerned may know the particular Fees to them, or any of them, belonging.

Adjourn.
