Capt. Vaughan bailed.
This Day Henry Vaughan Gentleman was brought to the Bar, by the Keeper of Newgate; and kneeled until he was bid to stand up.
Then the Speaker told him, "The Lords had thought fit, upon his Petition, to bail him;" and asked him, Who were to be his Bail?"
He named Daniell Sheldon Gentleman, and Elias Rich Esquire, to be his Bail; who the Lords accepted, and their Bail was taken, as follows:
"Memorandum, quod Heneric. Vaughan Gen. recognovit so debere Domino Regi et Dominæ Reginæ in Quinque Mille Librar. de Bonis et Catallis suis levari, ad Usum Domini Regis et Dominæ Reginæ Et
"Daniel Sheldon, de Sanct. Barthol. Close, London, Arm. recognovit se debere Domino Regi et Dominæ Reginæ in Duo Mille et Quingent. Librar. de Bonis et Catallis suis levari, ad Usum Domini Regis et Dominæ Reginæ. Et
"Elias Rich Arm. de Parochia de Lambeth, in Com. Surr. recognovit se debere Domino Regi et Dominæ Reginæ in Duo Mille et Quingent. Librar. de Bonis et Catallis suis levari, ad Usum Domini Regis et Deminæ Reginæ.
"The Condition of the abovesaid Recognizance is such, That if the said Henry Vaughan shall appear before this House at all Times when he shall be so ordered, by leaving an Order of this House at the said Mr. Sheldon's House in St. Bartholmew's Close, then this Recognizance to be void, and of none Effect; or else to stand in full Force and Virtue."
Dr. Elliot bailed.
This Day Doctor John Elliott was brought to the Bar, by the Keeper of Newgate; and kneeled, until he was bid to stand up.
Then the Speaker told him, "The Lords have thought fit, upon his Petition, to bail him;" and asked him, "Who were to be his Bail?"
He named Richard Morley Esquire, and John Boys Gentleman, to be his Bail; who the Lords accepted, and their Bail was taken, as follows:
"Memorandum, quod Doctor John. Elliott recognovit se debere Domino Regi et Dominæ Reginæ in Quinque Mille Librar. de Bonis et Catallis suis levari, ad Usum Domini Regis et Dominæ Reginæ. Et
"Ricardus Morley, de Petty France, in Civitte Westm. Armig, recognovit se debere Domino Regi et Dominæ Reginæ in Duo Mille et Quingent. Librar. de Bonis et Catallis suis levari, ad Usum Domini Regis [ (fn. 1) et Dominæ] Reginæ. Et
"Johannes Boys, de (fn. 2) Paroch. St. Margarit de Westm. Gen. recognovit se debere Domino Regi et Dominæ Reginæ in Duo Mille et Quingent. Librar. de Bonis et Catallis suis levari, ad Usum Domini Regis et Dominæ Reginæ.
"The Condition of the abovesaid Recognizance is such, That if the said Doctor John Elliot shall appear before this House at all Times when he shall be so ordered, by leaving an Order of this House at Mr. Walton's, a Grocer, in The Haymarket, then this Recognizance to be void, and of none Effect; or else to stand in full Force and Virtue."
Mole bailed.
This Day Fredericke Mole Gentleman was brought to the Bar, by the Keeper of (fn. 3) Newgate; and kneeled until he was bid to stand up.
Then the Speaker told him, "The Lords had thought fit, upon his Petition, to bail him;" and asked him, Who were to be his Bail?"
He named Thomas Webster Gentleman, and Farriott Doctor in Physic, to be his Bail; who the Lords accepted, and their Bail was taken, as follows:
"Memorandum, quod Frederick Mole Gen. recognovit se debere Domino Regi et Dominæ Reginæ in Quinque Mille Librar. de Bonis et Catallis suis levari, ad Usum Domini Regis et Dominæ Reginæ. Et
"Thom. Webster, de St. James's-Streete, Westm. recognovit se debere Domino Regi et Dominæ Reginæ in Duo Mille et Quingent. Librar. de Bonis et Catallis suis levari, ad Usum Domini Regis et Dominæ. Et

"The Condition of the abovesaid Recognizance is such, That if the said Frederick Mole shall appear before this House at all Times when he shall be so ordered, by leaving an Order of this House at Mr. Webster's, in Park Place, St. James's, then this Recognizance to be void, and of none Effect; or else to stand in full Force and Virtue."
Vaughan, Elliot, and Mole, released.
ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That Captain Henry Vaughan, John Elliott, and Frederick Mole, who were this Day bailed, be, and are hereby, discharged from their Imprisonment in Newgate.

Dashwood versus Champante.
ORDERED, That this House will hear the Cause wherein Sir Robert Dashwood and others are Plaintiffs, and Sir John Champante is Defendant, by Counsel on both Sides, at the Bar, on Thursday the 24th of this Instant April, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon.
Talcot and Gaston to be attached, for counterseiting Protections.
The House being informed, "That Thomas Talcott and Thomas Gaston have counterfeited several Protections, in the Names of Peers or Members of this House:"
It is thereupon ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Serjeant at Arms attending this House do forthwith attach the Bodies of the said Thomas Talcott and Thomas Gaston, and bring them in safe Custody to the Bar of this House on Friday next, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon, to answer such Things as shall be objected against them: And it is further ORDERED, That Justice Crofts do send to this House the Protections which he took from them, or every of them.
To the Serjeant at Arms attending this House, his Deputy and Deputies, and every of them.
Lords to be summoned.
ORDERED, That all the Lords in and about the Town be summoned to attend this House To-morrow, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon.

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That this House will hear the Cause, by Counsel on both Sides, at the Bar, wherein Edward Coke Esquire is Plaintiff, and Andrew Fountain Esquire is Defendant, on Saturday next, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon, peremptorily; and no other Business to intervene.

The Lord Viscount Newport reported, "That the Committee for the Bill concerning Sir Hugh Middleton had made some Amendments in that Bill; and did think fit the Bill may pass, with those Amendments."
Which, being read Twice, were agreed to; and the Bill was ordered to be engrossed.
Coals, Bill to revive the Act for regulating the Price of.
The Earl of Bridgewater reported, "That the Committee have considered the Bill for reviving an Act for regulating the Measures and Prices of Coals, and have made some Amendments therein."

Small Tithes, &c. for Recovery of.
Hodie 3a vice lecta est Billa, "An Act for the more speedy Recovery of Small Tithes, and Repair of Churches."
