Dr. Hugh Chamberlain, Henry Cornish, and Wm. Atwood, took their Oaths at Bar, in order to their appearing before the Committee for Inspections, to give their Information of what they know concerning those Particulars.
Irregularities in the Courts of the Counties Palatine.
Upon Report from the Lords Committees appointed to examine the Irregularities in Westm. Hall:
It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Committee do send to the Chief Justice of Chester, and the Chancellors of the Dutchy of Lancaster, and Durham, to give an Account of the Offices and Officers in their several Courts, and of their ancient Fees; and the Committee is hereby empowered to hear the Complaints of particular Persons.
L. Rockingham takes his Seat.
This Day Lewis Watson, Lord de Rockingham, sat first as a Peer in Parliament, after the Death of his Father Edward Lord Rockingham.
His Writ of Summons bears Date the 21° Die Novembris, Anno 1° Gul. & Mariæ.
Lewis Lord de Rockingham took the Oaths, and made and subscribed the Declaration, in Pursuance of the Statute.
Presgrave versus Sherman.
Upon hearing Counsel this Day at the Bar, upon the Petition of William Presgrave Esquire; shewing, "That he moved the Commissioners of the Great Seal, to have the Order for a Trial at Law reinforced, which was rejected," as in the Petition amongst other Things is set forth; as also upon the Answer of Thomas Sherman to the Petition aforesaid:
After due Consideration had of what was offered by Counsel on both Sides at the Bar, it is ORDERED and Adjudged, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Petition of the said William Presgrave Esquire be, and is hereby, dismissed this House; and that the Decree or Order of the Court of Chancery, from which he appealed to this House, be, and is hereby, affirmed: And it is further ORDERED, That the said William Presgrave do pay, or cause to be paid, unto the said Thomas Sherman, or his Agents, the Sum of Ten Pounds, for his Costs and Charges sustained by bringing the Cause before this House; and hereof he may not fail.
Barthropp, L. Cornwallis's Servant, arrested.
Upon Oath made at the Bar of this House, "That, contrary to the Privilege of Peerage and Privilege of Parliament, the 15th of October, 1689, James Robinson, Richard Harding, Edmond Wyth, and John Richards, arrested William Barthropp, menial Servant to the Right Honourable the Lord Cornwallis, a Peer of this Realm, at the Suit of Miles Bayspoole:"

It is thereupon ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Gentleman Usher of the Black Rod attending this House, his Deputy or Deputies, do forthwith attach the Bodies of the said Miles Bayspoole, James Robinson, Richard Harding, Edmond With, and John Richards, and bring them in safe Custody to the Bar of this House, to answer for their said Offence; and this shall be a sufficient Warrant on that Behalf.
To Sir Tho. Duppa, Gentleman Usher of the Black Rod attending this House, his Deputy and Deputies, and every of them, and to all Mayors, Sheriffs, Bailiffs, Constables, Tithing-men, and other Officers, to be aiding and assisting in the Execution hereof.
Bill to revive the Act for Triennial Parliaments.
Hodie 2a vice lecta est Billa, "An Act for reviving a former Act," as followeth:
Upon the Second Reading of the Bill, intituled, "An Act for reviving a former Act, made in the 16th Year of King Charles the First, intituled, An Act for preventing Inconveniencies happening by the long Intermission of Parliaments:"
It is ORDERED, That the said Bill be committed to a Committee of the whole House; who are to meet on Monday next, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon; and that all the Judges do attend.

ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That Richard Osborne and Edmond Prideaux, who signed the Petition of William Presgrave Esquire, presented to this House the 28th Day of October last, do attend this House, upon Notice given them hereof, by the Service of this Order upon them.
