Bill for reviving Proceedings at Law.
The House was put into a Committee, to consider of the Bill for reviving of Actions and Process lately depending at Westm. &c.
The House being resumed;
The Earl of Bridgewater reported, "That the Committee of the House have considered the said Bill; and are of Opinion, That it is fit to pass, with a small Amendment that they have made."
Which being read Twice, the House Agreed to it.
Hodie 3a vice lecta est Billa, "An Act for reviving of Actions and Process lately depending at Westminster, and discontinued by the not holding of Hillary Terme; and for supplying other Defects relating to Proceedings at Law."
The Question being put, "Whether this Bill, with the Amendments now read, shall pass?"
It was Resolved in the Affirmative.
Message to H. C. with it.
A Message was sent to the House of Commons, by Sir Miles Cooke and Mr. Metwin:
To return the Bill concerning the reviving of Actions and Process lately depending at Westminster, &c.; and to let them know, that this House agrees to the said Bill, with some small Amendments which they have made; to which the Lords desire their Concurrence.
Bill for abrogating the Oaths, and appointing new ones.
Next, the Proviso offered to the House Yesterday, to the Bill for abrogating the Oaths of Allegiance and Supremacy, appointed to be considered this Day, was read.
And, after Debate, it is ORDERED, That this Clause be laid aside.
Another Clause was offered to the House; which, being read and considered of, was agreed to, and made a Part of the Bill for abrogating the Oaths of Allegiance and Supremacy.
And the said Bill was ordered to be engrossed, with the Clauses and Amendments made in this House.
No Lord to go out of Town.
ORDERED, That no Lord or Member of this House do go into the Country, without the Leave of this House first had for that Purpose.
List of absent Lords to be brought in.
ORDERED, That the Clerk do bring in a List of those Lords To-morrow Morning, that are absent from this House, without having Leave or being excused.

Dyer versus Mayor of Gravesend and Read.
Upon hearing Counsel this Day at the Bar, upon the Petition of Andrew Dyer, as also the Counsel on the Behalf of William Reade and Charles Read, and also the Mayor of Gravesend, complained of in the said Petition:
After due Consideration had of what was offered by Counsel on either Part thereupon, it is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Petition of Andrew Dyer be, and is hereby, dismissed this House.
Adjourn.
