Report of Methods to make Lords attend.
The House was put into a Committee, to consider of Ways and Means to make Peers and Lords attend the House.
The House was resumed.
And the Earl of Bridgwater reported, "That the Committee have considered of some Methods for the sining of absent Lords; and desire the House may be put into a Committee again on Thursday next, to proceed further in this Business; and that in the mean Time the Lords Committees for Privileges do search Precedents concerning Lords having the King's and House's Leave to be absent."
To which Report the House agreed, and ordered as followeth:
"It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That on Thursday next this House shall be put into a Committee, to consider further of Ways and Means to make Peers and Lords attend the House; and that the Lords Committees for Privileges do in the mean Time search Precedents concerning Lords having the King's and House's Leave to be absent."

ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Cause appointed to be heard on Thursday next, wherein Thomas Broomhall is Plaintiff, and Hen. Johnson Defendant, shall be heard, by Counsel on both Sides, at the Bar, on Friday the 7th Day of November next, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon.
The Lords following were added to the Committee for regulating the Chancery:
Barret, alias Lennard's Bill.
ORDERED, That Mr. Barrett's Committee do meet on Monday next, at Nine of the Clock in the Forenoon.
