Bp. of Worcester takes the the Oaths.

This Day Edward Lord Bishop of Worcester took the Oaths, and made and subscribed the Declaration, in Pursuance of the Statutes.

Tunstal versus Smith, in Error.

Whereas this Day was appointed for hearing the Errors argued, upon the Writ of Error wherein Barnabas Tunstall is Plaintiff, and Thomas Smith is Defendant:

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That this House will hear the said Errors argued, by Counsel on both Sides, at the Bar, on Thursday the 24th Day of this Instant October, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon.

The House was adjourned during Pleasure.

King present.

The King, being adorned with His Regal Robes, Crown, and other Royal Ornaments, ascended His Throne, the Peers being also in their Robes; commanded the Gentleman Usher of the Black Rod to signify His Pleasure to the Commons, "That they attend His Majesty, with their Speaker, presently."

Who being come, the Speaker, by His Majesty's Command and Directions (standing in his Place behind the State), said as follows:

Parliament prorogued.

"My Lords and Gentlemen,

"It is His Majesty's Pleasure, that this Parliament be prorogued till Wednesday next, being the Twentythird Day of this Instant October: And this Parliament is prorogued to Wednesday next, being the Twentythird Day of October."

Hitherto examined by us, this 13th Day of December, 1689,
