The Earl of Dover reported, "That the Committee for the Bill to enable Rob't Earl of Manchester to sell Lands have considered the said Bill, and having heard all Parties therein concerned, do think fit the same be engrossed, with some few Amendments, which the Committee offers to the Consideration of the House."

The said Amendments were read Twice, and Agreed to; and the Bill ordered to be engrossed, with the said Amendments.

King's Answer to the Address concerning the Convocation.

The Committee for the Bill concerning the Earl of Alesburye's Bill are to meet on Thursday Morning next at Nine of the Clock.

The Lord Treasurer reported to this Effect:

"That his Lordship and the other Lords with White Staves have presented the humble Address of this House to His Majesty concerning the Convocation. And His Majesty is pleased to return this Answer, That He will give Command that the Places vacant in the Convocation be filled up; and that they meet frequently, and go on upon the Work which is proper for them to do."
