ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Lords with White Staves do attend His Majesty, humbly to desire Him from this House, "That His Majesty will be pleased to give Order, that all such Papers relating to the Discovery of the late horrid Conspiracy as have been before the Council Table, either before or since the Dissolution of the last Parliament, may be communicated to this House."

Committee to examine the Journal.

ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Lords Sub-committees for Privileges and Perusal of the Journal Book have hereby Power given them, to meet after every Session of Parliament, for examining so much of the Journal Book as shall be left unexamined at the Time of the Ending of such Session, without any further Order.

Mrs. Thimelby, Leave to stay in Town.

ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That Mrs. Thimelby, Wife of John Thimelby Esquire, be, and is hereby, authorized and permitted to come to, and stay in, the Cities of London or Westminster, for the Space of One Month from the Date of this Order, and no longer, without the Disturbance or Interruption of any Person or Persons whatsoever.

The Painted Chamber to be kept free from Strangers.

ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That, upon all Occasions on which the House of Commons, or any Committee thereof, are to come either into the Painted Chamber, or to the Bar of this House, the Gentleman Usher of the Black Rod attending this House be, and is hereby, required to take special Care that the Painted Chamber, and the Lobby between it and the House of Peers, be first cleared of all Persons whatsoever, not being Members of either House, or Officers in their proper Places attending the Service of the House of Peers.

Sir Edward Turner and Gardiner versus Lady Turner.

Upon reading the Petition and Appeal of Sir Edward Turner Knight, and Anne Gardiner Widow, formerly the Wife of William Mole Esquire, from a Decree made in the Court of Chancery, on the Behalf of Dame Mary Turner Widow, against the Petitioners, concerning the Delivery of the Deeds of a Rent Charge of Three Hundred Pounds per Annum to the said Dame Mary Turner, as in the said Petition is set forth:

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Dame Turner may have a Copy of the said Petition of Appeal; to which she is hereby required to put in her Answer in Writing, on or before Tuesday the 18th Day of this Instant March, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon; and that the Petitioners do cause timely Notice hereof to be given to the said Dame Mary Turner for that Purpose.

Ed. Chancellor to write to absent Lords to attend.

ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Lord Chancellor do forthwith write Letters to all the Peers and Prelates, Members of this House, who have not attended the House of Peers since the Beginning of this Parliament, requiring the said Lords to come and attend His Majesty's Service in the House of Peers; intimating in the said Letters, That such of the said Lords as are within Fifty Miles of this Place do give their said Attendance within One Week after the Receipt of the Letters to them respectively sent; and that those Lords who are at a greater Distance from this Place give their Attendance here within a Fortnight next after their Receipt of the said Letters; and that every of those Lords who through Age or Sickness cannot come up, do, within the Times to them respectively limited for their Attendance, send Two credible Persons to attend this House, to avow upon Oath, at the Bar, the true Cause why such Lords cannot attend this House according to this Summons:

Appeals and Impeachments of last Parliament, to consider.

It being moved, "That this House would declare whether Petitions of Appeal, which were presented to this House in the last Parliament, be still in Force to be proceeded on:"

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That it be, and is hereby, referred to the Lords Committees for Privileges, to consider thereof, and report their Opinion thereupon unto this House; and that the said Lords Committees do meet on Thursday next, at Three of the Clock in the Afternoon, for that Purpose.

Order to prevent Stoppages in the Street leading to this House.

Upon Complaint made unto this House, "That there is such an Interruption, by Hackney Coaches, Carts, and Drays; in King's Street, and the Passages to The Old Palace Yerd, in Westm., that the Lords and others are frequently hindered from coming to Parliament, to the Disservice of the King and Kingdom, and great Inconvenience of the Members of Parliament passing to and from the Houses of Parliament:"

It is thereupon ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the High Steward of the City of Westminster, or his Deputy, together with the Justices of the Peace of the said City, shall, by their Care and Directions to the Constables within the said Limits, take special Order, that no empty Hackney Coaches be suffered to make any Stay between Whitehall and The Old Palace Yard in Westminster, from Nine of the Clock in the Forenoon till Two in the Afternoon of the same Day, during the Sitting of the Parliament; and that no Carriages, by Carts or Drays, be permitted to pass through the said Streets and Passages, between the Hours aforesaid, during the Sitting of the Parliament; and herein a special Care is to be taken by the said Justices and Constables, as the contrary will be answered to this House.
