The Lord Privy Seal reported, "That the Committee have considered the Bill to enable Trustees to sell the Lands of Robert Childe, deceased, to pay his Debts and Provision for his Wife and Children, and have made some Amendments therein, which were offered to the Consideration of the House."
The said Amendments were read Twice, and Agreed to; and the said Bill ordered to be engrossed, with these Amendments.
Sir R. Viner & al. Bankers Bill.
Hodie 2a vice lecta est Billa, "An Act for confirming several Letters Patents granted by His Majesty to Sir Robert Vyner, Edward Backwell, and others therein named."
ORDERED, That the Consideration of this Bill is committed to these Lords following:
Their Lordships, or any Five of them; to meet To-morrow Morning, at Nine of the Clock in the Prince's Lodgings; and to adjourn as they please.
Returning Jurors Bill.

Message from H. C. for a Conference on the Supply Bill.
A Message was brought from the House of Commons, by Sir Henry Ford and others:
To desire a Free Conference, concerning the Matter of the last Conference.
The Answer returned was:
Answer.
That their Lordships have taken their Message into Consideration, and agree to give a Free Conference, and appoint the same to be To-morrow Morning, in the Painted Chamber, at Eleven of the Clock.
Appeals limiting Time for bringing in.
The Earl of Essex reported the Draught of an Order prepared by the Committee for limiting a Time for bringing in Appeals from inferior Courts, and other Things referred to them.
Which being read, and considered of, the House thought not fit to do any Thing therein.
Lawrence versus Berney.
Upon hearing Counsel this Day at the Bar, in the Cause upon the Petition and Appeal of Thomas Laurance, Carina Hetly, and Thomas Rolt, against John Berney, and also the Counsel of the said John Berney to shew what Errors in Law are in the Decree mentioned in the Petition of Thomas Laurance and others, which they pray may be executed; as also upon receiving the Petition and Appeal of the said John Berney from Two Decrees made in the Court of Chancery in the Years ["1650 and"] One Thousand Six Hundred Fifty and One, and concerning the Reversal of the Decree made in 3° Caroli Primi in that Court, concerning the Matter now in Question:
Memorandum, That the Interlineation of the Words ["1650 and"] were made this 15th of July, 1678, before us,

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Thomas Laurance, Carina Hetly, and Thomas Rolt, be, and are hereby, required to put in their Answer, or respective Answers, in Writing, to the said Petition and Appeal of John Berney on Monday the First Day of July next, by Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon: And it is further ORDERED, That this House will hear Counsel, at the Bar, on both Sides, upon the whole Matter in the Causes between the said Parties, on Thursday the Fourth Day of July next, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon.

The Petition to His Majesty, to give Leave for a Bill to disable the Petitioner who lays Claim to the Title of Vicecomes Purbeck from the said Claim, shall be taken into Consideration To-morrow Morning, the First Business.
