L. Mohun's Bill.

Hodie 3a vice lecta est Billa, "An Act to enable the Trustees of the Manors and Lands late of Charles Lord Mohun to fell and sell Timber, and to make Leases for Payment of his and his Father's Debts, and to raise a Portion for his Daughter."

The Question being put, "Whether this Bill shall pass?"

It was Resolved in the Affirmative.

Message to H. C. with it.

A Message was sent to the House of Commons, by Sir William Beversham and Sir Tymothy Baldwin:

To deliver them the Bill concerning the Trustees of the Manors and Lands late of Charles Lord Mohun; and to desire their Concurrence thereunto.

King's Answer to the Address concerning Ireland.

The Lord Privy Seal reported, "That himself and the other Lords appointed to present the humble Address of this House concerning Ireland to His Majesty, have waited on His Majesty with the same: To which His Majesty returns this Answer, That He consents to the Desires of this House therein, and will give speedy Order for every Particular in it."

Bill to clear London and Westm. of Papists.

The Lord Viscount Halyfax reported, "That the Committee have considered the Bill for freeing the City of London and the Parts adjacent from Papists; and have made some Amendments therein, which are offered to the Consideration of the House."

The said Amendments were read Once.

And, after some Debate, it is ORDERED, That this House be put into a Committee on Thursday Morning next, to consider further of these Amendments.

Ward & al. versus Booth.

Whereas this House had appointed to hear Counsel upon the Petition and Appeal of William Ward and others, and the Answer of Nathaniell Booth, on Tuesday next, being the Twenty-ninth Day of this Instant April:

It being moved, "That, in regard the Counsel of the said Nathaniell Booth are not yet returned from the Northern Circuit, a longer Day may be granted him for preparing for the said Hearing;" it is thereupon ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That this House doth hereby appoint to hear Counsel, on both Parts, upon the said Petition and Answer, on Tuesday the Thirteenth Day of May next, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon; whereof the said Nathaniell Booth is to Cause timely Notice to be given to the said William Ward and other Petitioners, to prevent their Attendance with Counsel on Tuesday next.

Adjourn.
