E. of Warwick's Bill.

Hodie 1 vice lecta est Billa, "An Act to enable the Guardian of the Right Honourable Edward Earl of Warwick and Holland to make Leases of several Messuages herein mentioned, during his Minority, (fn. 1) rendering the improved Rent."

L. Audley's Bill.

Hodie 1^a vice lecta est Billa, "An Act for restoring of the Dignity and Title of Baron Audley of Hely to the Family and Posterity of Mervin Lord Audley, deceased."

Rodes' Bill.

The Earl of Aylesbury reported, "That the Committee have considered the Bill for Confirmation of a Decree concerning Sir Francis Rodes' Estate; and are of Opinion, that the Bill do pass, with a few Alterations, which are offered to the Consideration of the House."

The Amendments, being read Twice, were Agreed to; and the House ORDERED, That the said Bill be engrossed, with the said Amendments.

Bulkley versus Bulkley.

The Lord Treasurer, the Lord Berkeley, and the Lord Wharton, are added to the Committee of the Bill concerning Deeping Fenn.

Upon reading the Petition of Bartholmewe Bulkley, Defendant in a Writ of Error depending in this House, wherein William Bulkley is Plaintiff, whereupon Errors are assigned, and Issue joined; and praying, "That a short Day may be appointed to hear the said Errors argued:"

It is thereupon ORDERED, That this House will hear the said Errors argued, by Counsel, at the Bar, peremptorily, on Saturday the Ninth Day of this Instant February, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon; whereof the now Petitioner is to cause timely Notice to be given to the said William Bulkly for that Purpose.

Bill against Blasphemy.

Next, the House was adjourned into a Committee, to proceed in the Consideration of the Bill for punishing of Atheism and Blasphemy.

The House was resumed.

And the Earl of Bridgwater reported, "That the Committee had made some Amendments in the said Bill, which are offered to the Consideration of the House."

The said Amendments, being read Twice, were Agreed to; and the Bill is ordered to be engrossed, with the said Amendments.

The Earl of Huntingdon is added to the Committee for the Journal Book.

Marq. of Winton's Privilege.

Upon Complaint made to this House, and Oath made at the Bar, by Edward Ackland, Elizabeth Norgrave, and Mary Hasted, "That William Cobden, of Islefield, in the County of South'ton, Clerk, employed one Mr. John Mathewes, Counsellor at Law, to cause William Norgrave, of Herriot, in the said County of South'ton, Yeoman, to be arrested, by John Watts Bailiff, who arrested the said William Norgrave (in November last, within the Time of Privilege of Parliament) upon a Cause wherein the Right and Title of the Marquis of Winchester is immediately concerned, and refused to discharge him, though the said Marquis offered to go to Trial:"

Cobden & al. sent for, for arresting Norgrave.

It is thereupon ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said William Cobden, John Mathewes, and John Watts, be, and are hereby, required to appear at the Bar of this House, to answer to the said Complaint, within Three Days next after Notice to them respectively given of this Summons, as they and either of them will answer the contrary thereof unto this House.
