ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That this House will take the whole Matter of the King's Speech, made Yesterday in this House, into their Consideration on Tuesday the Thirteenth Day of this Instant January, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon.

LadyOBrian's Claim to the Barony of Clifton of Leighton.

Upon reading the Petition of Katherine Lady O Brian, on the Behalf of herself, and of Donatus O Brian her Son, claiming a Right to the Barony of Leighton Bromswold, in the County of Huntington, as also His Majesty's Reference thereof to this House; and of the Report of His Majesty's late Attorney General, now Lord Keeper of the Great Seal of England, concerning the said Barony, annexed to the said Petition:

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Consideration of the said Petition be referred to the Lords Committees appointed to consider of the Privileges of the Peers of this Realm, &c. whose Lordships are to report their Opinion thereupon to this House.

Love & al. versus Oxenden, Blundell, & al.

Whereas there is a Petition of William Love, John Buckworth, and others, depending in this House, to which Sir George Blundell, with divers other Persons, is made a Defendant, who was, by Order of this House, dated the 30th Day of October last, appointed, with other Defendants, to put in their Answers thereunto in Writing within Fourteen Days after Notice thereof given them:

The House being this Day informed, "That the said Sir George Blundell, being at present about Forty Miles from London, and very sick, humbly prays he may have the Time enlarged for his putting in his Answer to the said Petition (having had due Notice thereof);" it is thereupon ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Sir George Blundell shall have further Time allowed him till this Day Fortnight, being the Twentysecond Day of January Instant, for putting in his said Answer in Form, as in the said Order of the 30th of October last past is directed, whereby he is then not to fail.

Creditors of Prisoners for Debt Bill.

Hodie 1a vice lecta est Billa, "An Act for a proportionable Satisfaction to be made to the Creditors, out of the Real and Personal Estates of Prisoners for Debt."

An Address unto His Majesty:

Address to the King, to remove Papists from London and its Neighbourhood.

"We, Your Majesty's most dutiful and loyal Subjects, the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, do most humbly beseech Your Majesty, That You will graciously be pleased to issue out Your Royal Proclamation, thereby requiring all Papists, or reputed Papists, who are or remain within Five Miles of the Cities of London and Westminster, or Borough of Southwark, not being Householders, nor attending any Peer of the Realm as a menial Servant, to repair to their respective Dwellings, or to depart Ten Miles from the Cities and Borough aforesaid, and not to return during this Sitting of Parliament; provided, that it may be permitted for any Papist, or reputed Papist, to return unto the Cities or Borough aforesaid, who shall first obtain a License therefor under the Hands of any Six of the Lords of Your Majesty's most Honourable Privy Council: And that Your Majesty will be pleased to give Order to the Quarter Sessions, that they give Your Majesty in an Account of what Householders now are within the Cities or Borough aforesaid, and Five Miles thereof, who are of that Profession; and that the Quarter Sessions do adjourn themselves from Time to Time, for that Purpose."

ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Lord High Treasurer of England, the Lord Great Chamberlain, the Lord Steward of His Majesty's Household, and the Lord Newport, do attend His Majesty this Afternoon, to know His Pleasure, at what Time the House of Peers may wait on His Majesty, with their Address resolved on this Day.
