A Message was brought from the House of Commons, by Sir John Munson Knight, and others, who brought up a Bill, intituled, "An Act for improving Navigation between the Town of Boston and the River Trent, to which their Lordships Concurrence is desired."

Bill to prevent malicious burning of Houses, &c

The Earl of Anglesey reported, "That the Committee have considered the Bill to prevent the malicious destroying of Cattle, &c, and do think it fit to pass, with some Amendments"

Which being read Twice,

The Question being put, "Whether to agree to these Amendments?"

It was Resolved in the Affirmative

Hodie 3^a vice lecta est Billa, "An Act to prevent the malicious burning of Houses, Stacks of Corn and Hay, and killing or maiming of Cattle"

The Question being put, "Whether this Bill, with the Amendments, shall pass?"

A Message was sent to the House of Commons, by Sir William Child and Sir John Coell

To return these Two Bills following, wherein the Lords have made some Amendments, and desire the Concurrence of the House of Commons thereunto

2 The Bill to prevent the malicious burning of Houses, &c

Boston and Trent Navigation Bill

ORDERED, That the Bill for improving Navigation between the Town of Boston and the River Trent shall be read To-morrow Morning

Worcester Gaol Bill

ORDERED, That the Consideration of this Bill is committed to these Lords following

ORDERED, That the Consideration of this Bill is committed to the same Committee as the Bill concerning Worcester Gaol is

ORDERED, That the Earl of Kent be added to the Committee for Privileges, and the Committee for Petitions

Morris versus Dove

The House this Day entering into Debate of what hath been offered, by Counsel on both Parts, at the Bar, in the Cause upon the Petition of John Morris and Robert Clayton, being an Appeal from some Proceedings in the Court of Chancery, and also the Answer of Thomas Dove, Executor to Thomas Dove, deceased, to the said Petition

After due Consideration had of what was offered on either Part in the said Cause, it is ORDERED and Adjudged, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parlia ment assembled, That the said Petition of John Morris and Robert Clayton be, and is hereby, dismissed this House

Sir A Zouch versus Naylor

The House entering this Day into Debate of what was offered, by Counsel, at the Bar, or both Parts, in the Cause upon the Petition of Sir Allan Zouch and Dame Katherine his Wife, being an Appeal from some Proceedings in the Court of Chancery, and the respective Answers of Sarah Naylor Widow and Francis Naylor thereunto

After due Consideration had of what was urged by the Counsel on either Part, the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled do order and adjudge, That Sir Allan Zouch and Dame Katherine his Wife shall have Liberty, in the Court of Chancery, now to prove such Incumbrances as they have paid, or yet remain unpaid, upon the Lands purchased, which were Incumbrances, for which the One Thousand Pounds remained in their Hands a Counter-security, and which were due or incurred within the Time allotted for clearing thereof, out of the Thousand Pounds, giving first good Security, such as the Court of Chancery shall think fit, to pay such Monies as shall be found due upon an Accompt to be stated by a Master of the Chancery, and Interest to be allowed, and what hath been received out of the Lands sequestered over and above all Charges and Expences to be discounted for by the Defendants in the said Cause
