PRAYERS.

Tanners Pet. for the Leather Bill to be proceeded in.

Upon reading the humble Petition of the Tanners frequenting the Market of Leaden Hall, London, in Behalf of themselves and the Tanners of England, praying a Bill now depending in this House, intituled, "An Act for giving Liberty to buy and export Leather and Skins tanned or dressed," may pass:

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Consideration of the said Petition is hereby referred to the Lords Committees to whom the said Bill stands committed, at such Time as their Lordships shall proceed upon the said Bill.

Whereas John Hill, One of the Serjeants at Mace of the Prison now called The Compter London, being this Day brought to the Bar by the Gentleman Usher of the Black Rod attending this House, he there acknowledging his Offence in arresting Richard Mason, Servant to the Duke of Newcastle, a Peer of this Realm (sitting the Parliament), contrary to the Privilege of Parliament, and, asking their Lordships Pardon, hath received the Reprehension of the House for the same:

It is thereupon ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said John Hill be forthwith discharged of his present Restraint, paying his Fees due to the Officers of this House.

Whereas Lodowick London and Nicholas Keife, Under Bailiffs of the City of Westminster, being this Day brought to the Bar, by the Gentleman Usher of the Black Rod attending this House, there acknowledging their Offence, in taking in Execution the Goods of Peter Belon, One of His Majesty's Servants in Ordinary, in November last, contrary to the Privilege of Parliament and, asking their Lordships Pardon, have received the Reprehension of this House for the same:

It is thereupon ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Lodowick London and Nicholas Keife be forthwith discharged of their present Restraint, paying their Fees due to the Officers of this House.
