The Messengers sent Yesterday with the Message to the House of Commons return with this Answer:
That they have delivered their Message; and the House of Commons will give their Lordships a Meeting, at a Conference, at the Time and Place appointed.
Conference about committing the E. of Clarendon.
These Lords following were appointed by this House to manage this Conference with the House of Commons:
The House was adjourned during Pleasure, and the Lords went to the Conference; which being ended, the House was resumed.
Report of it.
The Earl of Oxon reported, "That he and the rest of the Lords appointed to manage the late Conference have delivered their Lordships Commands; and the Commons say, That they will communicate the same to the House of Commons."
Committee to prevent the Importation of Foreign Cattle.
ORDERED, That the Committee appointed to consider of Complaints of Practices to delude and defeat the Act of Parliament to restrain the Importation of Foreign Cattle do meet this Afternoon, at Three of the Clock.
Bishop of Durham's Lead Mines Bill.
The Question being put, "Whether the Bill concerning the Lead Mines shall be now read?"
It was Resolved in the Negative.
