Mercer versus Mercer.

Upon reading the humble Petition of Robert Mercer Merchant, being an Appeal from a Dismission of his Bill in the Exchequer Chamber, concerning the Settlement of some Freehold and Copyhold Lands in Fazakerly, Walton, and Leverpoole, and elsewhere in the County of Lancaster:

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Petitioner shall cause a Copy of the said Petition signed by the Clerk of the Parliament to be delivered to Allice and Ellen Mercer, mentioned in the said Petition, or either of them; who are hereby required, by their Guardian, to put in their Answer thereunto in Writing within a Fortnight after they shall be served with this Order, and the said Copy of the Petition.
