PRAYERS.

The Lord Chief Justice of the Court of Common Pleas sat Speaker this Day, in the Absence of the Lord Keeper, he being sick.

The Earl of Carlile and Lord Bishop of Sarum are added to the Committee for the Bill concerning Sir Phillip Howard.

Bill against maiming and wounding.

The House was adjourned into a Committee, to consider further of the Bill to prevent maiming and wounding.

The House was resumed.

And the Lord Chamberlain reported, "That the Committee of the whole House have proceeded in the further Consideration of the Bill to prevent maiming and wounding; but, having not now Time to go through the Whole, the Committee desire a further Time for them to meet, to perfect the same."

Whereupon it is ORDERED, That the Committee of the whole House shall meet To-morrow Morning, and proceed further in the Consideration of that Bill.

Adjourn.
