Fitzjamess Bill.

The Earl of Dorsett reported, "That the Committee have considered the Bill to enable the Daughters and Coheirs of Sir John Fitzjames to join in a Sale of Lands, for Payment of his Debts; and all Parties concerned have given their Consents to the passing of this Bill, it being only to enable the Two Youngest Daughters, who are under Age, to join with the Eldest, for selling some Land, for Payment of Debts; therefore their Lordships think it fit to pass, with some few Amendments."

Which, being read Twice, were Agreed to.

Hodie 3a vice lecta est Billa, "An Act to enable the Daughters and Coheirs of Sir John Fitzjames to join in a Sale of Lands, for Payment of his Debts."

The Question being put, "Whether this Bill, with the Amendments now read, shall pass?"

It was Resolved in the Affirmative.

ORDERED, That Baron Turner and Justice Wylde are appointed to assist the Lords Committees for Sir Phillip Howard's Bill.

Bill to prevent Frauds in Servants.

The Earl of Essex reported, "That the Committee have considered the Bill for preventing Frauds and Deceits in Servants, and have made some few Amendments therein."

The said Amendments were read Twice; and, after some Debate,

The Question being put, "Whether this Bill shall be re-committed?"

It was Resolved in the Affirmative.

ORDERED, That this Committee do meet again on Friday next, at Three of the Clock in the Afternoon; and have further Power given them to consider of any other Abuses and Disorders in Servants, and offer the same to this House.

And the Duke of Bucks, Comes Rivers, Comes Aylsbury, Comes Burlington, Lord Chandos, Lord Petre, Lord Widdrington, Lord Gerrard, and the Lord Colepeper, are added to the said Committee; and Baron Turner and Justice Wylde are appointed to assist the Lords Committees.

Greene and Cole, in Error.

ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That this House doth adjourn the Debate of what hath been offered by Counsel at the Bar, and by the Judges in this House, upon the Writ of Error now depending, between Henry Greene Plaintiff, and William Cole Defendant, till Tuesday the Twentyfourth Day of January Instant, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon.

Sequestrations in Chancery.

ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Report concerning Sequestration of Estates by the Court of Chancery shall be made from the Committee for Privileges on Monday the Sixteenth Day of January Instant, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon.
