Bill concerning Privilege and Judicature in Parliament.
ORDERED, That the Bill for limiting of Trials in Parliament, &c. shall be read the Third Time on Monday Morning next, the First Business; and that the Gentleman Usher attending this House do give Notice to all the Lords absent this Day, and in Town, to be present and attend this House at the same Time.
Grenvile versus Elwes.
Upon hearing the Counsel of Bernard Grenvile Esquire and Jeremy Elwes Esquire, upon the Matter directed by this House:
It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That Monday Morning next is appointed to take into Consideration what Resolution to give thereupon; in the mean Time, the Lord Keeper, the Lord Chief Justice of the Court of Common Pleas, and the Lord Chief Baron, are to be attended with those Precedents as were cited by the Counsel at the Bar this Day.
Committees adjourned.
ORDERED, That the Committee concerning Accompts and the Committee for Petitions, which were appointed to meet this Afternoon, are adjourned, and appointed to meet on Monday next, in the Afternoon.
