PRAYERS.

The Chief Justice of the Court of Common Pleas sat Speaker of this House this Day, in the Absence of the Lord Keeper, who is not well.

Bill concerning Privilege and Judicature in Parliament.

The House was adjourned into a Committee of the whole House, and took into further Consideration the Bill for limiting of certain Trials in Parliament, &c.

The House being resumed;

The Earl of Essex reported, "That the Grand Committee of the House have proceeded in the Bill for limiting of certain Trials in Parliament, and have committed certain Clauses to the Consideration of a Subcommittee; therefore the House is desired to appoint another Time for the Meeting of the Grand Committee."

And the House appointed the Grand Committee of the House to sit To-morrow Morning; and the Lord Chief Justice of the Common Pleas and the Lord Chief Baron to attend the Lords Sub-committees.

E. of Anglesey's Petition.

Upon reading the Petition of the Earl of Anglesey, and after Debate thereof:

It is ORDERED, That the further Debate of this Business is adjourned until To-morrow Morning, the First Business.

Grenvile versus Elwes.

Whereas the Counsel of Jeremy Elwes Esquire should have been this Day heard at the Bar, to this Point, (videlicet,) "Whether the Decree made in the Court of Chancery on the First of June, 1668, between Cutbert Morley Esquire Plaintiff, and Jeremy Elwes, and Henry Elwes his Trustee Defendants, be pursuant to the Order and Judgement of this House, made 31th of March, 1668:"

It is this Day ORDERED, That the said Counsel shall be heard, to the same Point, on Saturday the 20th Instant, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon peremptorily; and no other Business then to intervene.

Adjourn.
