PRAYERS.

Bill against seditious Conventicles.

The House was adjourned into a Committee of the whole House, to proceed in the Consideration of the Bill to prevent feditious Conventicles.

The House being resumed;

The Earl of Bridgwater reported, "That the Committee of the whole House, upon a serious Debate of the Bill to prevent seditious Conventicles, have made certain Alterations and Amendments, and have thought fit to add certain Provisos to the said Bill, which they offer to their Lordships Consideration."

The said Alterations and Amendments and Provisos were read Twice, and Agreed; and ORDERED, That the Provisos be engrossed against To-morrow Morning.

Hodie 1a vice lecta est Billa, "An Act for naturalizing of Dame Katherine Sayer and others."

Ld. Strangford's Bill.

Hodie 1a vice lecta est Billa, "An Act to enable Trustees for the Lord Stangford to sell Lands, for Payments of Debts."

ORDERED, That the Lord Viscount Mountagu and the Lord Petre are added to the Committee for the Bill concerning Mr. Cottington.

Worslty, E. of Lincoln's Auditor, arrested by his Lordship, released by the Speaker of H. C.

Upon Complaint made by the Earl of Lyncolne, That he having just Cause to commence a Suit at Law against Thomas Worsley, his Lordship's Auditor and Solicitor, and having arrested him upon an Action of Accompt, was this Day released, by Order from the Speaker of the House of Commons:"

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Consideration of this Business is referred to the Committee of Privileges; who are to state the Case, and thereupon to make Report to this House.

E. Cleveland and L. Wentworth, Privilege in Turner's Suit.

Upon Information given to this House, "That a Declaration is delivered, at the Suit of Symon Turner, Plaintiff in an Action of Ejectment for the Trial of the Title of Two Messuages in Blackwall, upon the Demise of Roger Marquess, in which the Title of the Earl of Cleaveland and the Lord Wentworth is immediately concerned, which is contrary to the Privilege of Parliament:"

It is therefore ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That there be no further Proceedings therein during the Privilege of Parliament; and hereof all Counsellors, Solicitors, Attornies, and others concerned in this Business, are to take Notice, and yield their Obedience, as they will answer the contrary to this House.

Adjourn.
