Upon the Petition of the Freeholders and Owners of Land, within the Soke of Horne Castle, in the County of Lyncolne, and Commoners in Wyldemore Fenn:

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That Sir John Prettyman and such others as are therein concerned shall shew Cause, by their Counsel, on Saturday Morning next, why an Order of this House, dated the Third of June last, complained against by the said Inhabitants, should not be revoked; or else, in Default thereof, the said Order is hereby vacated and made void to all Intents and Purposes: And hereof the said Sir John Prettyman and such as are concerned are to have speedy Notice.

Withers, L. Byron's Chaplain, Privilege.

This Day Mr. Samuell Withers, Chaplain to the Lord Byron, was brought before the Lords in Parliament; and likewise Francis Clifford appeared also, at whose Suit he was arrested, upon an Original Writ; who averred, "That he did not know that the said Mr. Withers was Chaplain to the Lord Byron."

Whereupon it is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Mr. Withers be released from his present Restraint, and enjoy the Privilege of Parliament.

E. of Berks Privilege: Freeman, Crabb, & al. sent for, for suing his Tenants.

ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That Francis Freeman, James Crabb, Edward Avon, William Tarrant, and Gregory Herbert, who have caused Suits at Law to be commenced against some of the Tenants of the Earl of Berks, a Peer of this Realm, are to appear before the Lords in Parliament, on Friday Morning next, the Tenth of this Instant July, to answer the said Offences, and such other Misdemeanors as they shall be charged withal in relation to the said Earl; and herein they may not fail, as they will answer the contrary to this House.

Marq. of Worcester's Privilege in the Suit between Sir J. Langham and Warner.

Whereas there is a Suit commenced, by Sir James Langham Plaintiff, against John Warner Defendant, whereby the Tenants of the Marquis of Worcester, in the Manors of Walgrave and Northall, in the County of North'ton, are troubled and molested, and their Appearance is now required in the Court of Exchequer of Pleas, in which Cause the said Marquis is immediately concerned:

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That there shall be no further Proceeding in this Cause, nor his Tenants further molested, during the Privilege of this Parliament: And hereof all Sheriffs, Counsellors, Attornies, Solicitors, and all others any Way herein concerned, are to take Notice, and yield their Obedience hereunto, as the contrary will be answered to this House.

L. Gerard versus Fitton & al.

The Counsel of Alexander Fitton, Edward Lloyd, John Cade, and John Wright, were heard this Day at the Bar, to make their Defence, to clear themselves from the Conspiracy against the Lord Gerard of Brandon.

And likewise the Counsel of the Lord Gerard were heard, to make Reply thereunto; and prayed, "That exemplary Punishment might be inflicted upon the aforesaid Fitton, Lloyd, Cade, and Wright; for their said Conspiracy."

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That To-morrow Morning this House will take into Consideration what hath been now said by Counsel on both Sides, in order to their Lordships giving Judgement therein.
