Killegrew & al. Nat. Bill.

The Earl of North'ton reported, "That the Committee have considered of the Bill for naturalizing Charlotte Hessen Killegrewe and others; and they think it fit to pass as it is, without any Alterations."

Hodie 3a vice lecta est Billa, "An Act for naturalizing Charlotte Hessen Killegrewe and others."

The Question being put, "Whether this Bill shall pass?"

It was Resolved in the Affirmative.

Message from H. C. with Bills;

A Message was brought from the House of Commons, by Mr. Streate and others; who brought up these Bills following:

1. "An Act for the governing of the Hospital of St. Oswald's, in the County of Worcester."

2. "An Act for the settling of a Free School in Witney, in the County of Oxon, being erected and endowed by Henry Box Citizen and Grocer of London, deceased;" to both which Bills their Lordships Concurrence is desired.

and that they agree to the following ones:

The other Part of the Message was,

To return Two Bills which the Lords sent down to the House of Commons, with some Alterations and Amendments, in which the Commons do agree with their Lordships; and One Bill they agree to as it was sent down, videlicet,

E. of Portland's & al.

1. "An Act for settling an Annuity of Three Hundred Pounds per Annum upon Charles Earl of Portland;" which they agree to without any Amendments.

Seniors'.

2. "An Act to enable the Sale of some of the Lands of Richard Senior."

Briscoe's.

3. "An Act to empower Sir John Drake and others to make Sale of Lands, for Payment of the Portion of Ellen Brisco Widow."

These Two last Bills were with Amendments.

Bp. of Winton's Bill.

The Earl of Bridgwater reported, "That the Committee have considered the Bill to enable the Bishop of Winchester to lease out the Tenements now built upon his Mansion-house, in the Parish of St. Saviour's, in Southwark, and the Two Parks and other Demesnes at Bishopp's Waltham; and their Lordships have thought fit to make some Alterations and Amendments therein, which are offered to the Consideration of this House."

The said Alterations were read Twice, and Agreed to, and the Bill is ordered to be engrossed, with those Alterations and Amendments.

Nuttall to be heard against Newport's Bill.

The Earl of Bridgwater further reported, "That the Committee, entering into Consideration of the Bill of John Newport, had a Petition presented unto them from one Richard Nuttall, desiring to be heard, by his Counsel, at this Bar, before the said Bill do pass."

Hereupon, the Petition being read, it is ORDERED, That Counsel on both Sides shall be heard, at this Bar, on Tuesday the 26th of May, at Ten of the Clock in the Morning, upon the Matter contained in the said Bill; at which Time both Sides are to come prepared with their Counsel and Witnesses.

Committee for Highways. &c.

ORDERED, That the Committee to consider of putting into Execution the Act for repairing and cleansing the Streets do meet To-morrow in the Afternoon, at Three of the Clock.
