A Message was brought from the House of Commons, by James Herbert Esquire and others:
To desire a Conference concerning the Bill for Uniformity.
The Answer returned was:

That this House will give the House of Commons a present Conference, in the Painted Chamber.
Bill to prevent the Exportation of Sheep, Wool, &c.
Hodie 2a vice lecta est Billa, "An Act against exporting of Sheep, Wool, Woolfels, Mortlings, Shorlings, Yarn made of Wool, Woolfels, Fullers Earth, Fulling Clay, and Tobacco Pipe Clay."
ORDERED, That the Consideration of this Bill is committed to the same Committee as the Bill for the Highways is.
The Lord Chancellor, the Lord Treasurer, the Lord Privy Seal, the Earl of Bridgwater, and the Earl of Portland, are appointed to report the Matter of the next Conference with the House of Commons, concerning the Bill for Uniformity.
Report of the Judges, concerning the Bill to restore Advowsons, &c. taken away upon Compositions.
The Lord Chief Justice of the King's Bench reported, That, in Obedience to their Lordships Order of the 20th Day of March last, he and the rest of the Judges have considered, whether the Act, intituled, "An Act for restoring of all such Advowsons, Rectories, and Impropriations, Glebe Lands, and Tithes, to His Majesty's loyal Subjects, as were taken from them, and making void certain Charges imposed on them, upon their Compositions for Delinquency, by the late usurped Powers," be against the Act of In demnity, and the Act of confirming of Judicial Proceedings, or either of them; and they are of Opinion, That the Clause in that Bill concerning the Payment of Arrears as yet remaining in the Tenants Hands unto those to whom the Right did belong, is against the Act of Oblivion; and they were further informed, That divers of the said Advowsons, Rectories, and Tithes, &c. have been purchased, for valuable Considerations, with the Consent of the former Owners; and for others of them (which exceeded in Value the Composition-money agreed to be paid) the Owners had a Consideration. And they conceive that all the rest of them (the Trust which was in the late Trustees being determined) are now at His Majesty's Dispose: And the Case being various, it may fall out that this Bill, as it is penned, may, as to some of those Cases, be against the Act of Judicial Proceedings, or Act of Oblivion; and as to others of them, not against the said Acts. And therefore they cannot give a full and general Answer to their Lordships Question. But, as to those Advowsons, Rectories, Tithes, &c. which were taken away from any of His Majesty's loyal Subjects, only as Part of or in full for their Compositions, they humbly conceive that it is not against the Act of Judicial Proceedings or Act of Indemnity, if His Majesty (in whom they are now) shall consent to an Act for restoring of the same."

This Bill having been formerly read the Second Time before the Reference made to the Judges:
It is now ORDERED, That the Consideration of the said Bill is committed to these Lords following:
The Lord Chief Justice of the King's Bench to attend their Lordships, to assist them.
Their Lordships, or any Five of them; to meet on Friday next, in the Afternoon, at Three of the Clock, in the Prince's Lodgings.
Conference concerning the Bill for Uniformity of Worship.
Next, the House was adjourned during Pleasure, and the Lords went to the Conference with the House of Commons; which being ended, the House was resumed.
ORDERED, That the Report of this Conference shall be made on Friday Morning next.
ORDERED, That those Committees that were appointed to sit To-morrow are adjourned until Friday next.
