Count. of Derby and L. C. J. of Common Pleas to be examined about the E. of Derby's Bill.

ORDERED, That Letters be written, from this House, to the Countess Dowager of Derby, and the Lord Chief Justice of the Common Pleas, to desire them to be present here on Thursday next, to be examined as Witnesses, in the Cause between the Earl of Derby, and some of the Purchasers of some of his Estate.

ORDERED, That the Lord Viscount Campden, the Lord Lovelace, the Lord Hatton, and the Lord Vaughan, are added to the Committee for Sir Anthony Browne's Bill.

Bill for draining the Fens in Lindsey Level.

Hodie 3^a vice lecta est Billa, "An Act for the Draining of the Level of the Fens, in the County of Lyncolne, extending itself from the River of Gleane and Bourne to Kyme Ea, as well within the Parts of Kestiven as Holland (The Eight Hundred Fenn excepted) from the said Kyme Ea, to the City of Lyncolne, and thence Westward, to the Banks of Trent, commonly called Lyndsey Levell."

The Question being put, "Whether this Bill shall pass for a Law?"

It was Resolved in the Affirmative.

Message to H. C. with it.

A Message was sent to the House of Commons, by Doctor Lewin and Doctor Woolsley:

To deliver to them the Bill concerning Lyndsey Levell, and desire their Concurrence therein.

E. of Sunderland, Leave to be absent.

ORDERED, That the Earl of Sunderland hath Leave to go into France.

Masters in Chancery Bill.

Hodie 1^a vice lecta est Billa, "An Act for ascertaining and establishing the Fees of the Masters of the Chancery in Ordinary."

Hodie 3^a vice lecta est Billa, "An Act for enabling John Lord of Abergaveny, Son and Heir of Henry Lord of Abergaveny,, to sell certain Lands, for Payment of his Debts, and Preferment of his Brother and Sisters."

The Question being put, "Whether this Bill shall pass for a Law?"

It was Resolved in the Affirmative.

This Bill was sent down to the House of Commons, for their Concurrence, with the Bill for Lyndsey Levell.

E. of Sarum, Privilege in Farr's Suit brought against him.

Whereas William Farr, as Lessee to Robert Bragg, brought an Action of Trespass and Ejectment in the King's Bench, as of Easter Term last, against Henry Privett, a feigned Ejector, for the Island of Brownsey, in the County of Dorsett, and delivered the Declaration to George Skutt, Tenant to the Earl of Sarum, who hath the Inheritance of the Premises, being a Member of Parliament; and the Trial is to be had the next Assizes for the County of Dorsett, contrary to the Privilege of Parliament:

It is ORDERED, That there shall be no further Proceedings in the said Cause, by the said William Farr or any others, during the Privilege of Parliament, unless his Lordship shall be pleased to wave his Privilege: And hereof all Counsel, Attornies, and Solicitors, herein concerned or employed, are to take Notice, and yield their Obedience accordingly.

Bill to vacate Sir Edw. Powel's Fines.

Upon hearing of the Cause between the Plaintiffs and Defendants, concerning a Bill depending before the Lords in Parliament, intituled, "An Act for the making void certain Fines, unduly procured to be levied, by Sir Edward Powell and Dame Mary his Wife:"

It is ORDERED, That the Cause shall be further heard, at this Bar, on Tuesday the Second of July next, at Nine of the Clock in the Morning; and that the Parties, with their Counsel and Witnesses, shall appear at the said Hearing accordingly.
