Dr. Creighton, concerning the Rectory of Penzance.
ORDERED, That the Tithes and Profits of Pensance be secured, in the Hands of David Grosse of Galvall, Joseph Noy of Burrian, Arthur Lavelis of Burrion, until the Title of the said Rectory be determined at Law, between Doctor Creighton and the present Incumbent.
The Lord Chancellor acquainted, (fn. 2) "That the King commanded him to deliver a Bill unto this House; which His Majesty recommends as a Public Good." Which was received.
Bill for draining the Great Level of the Fens.
Hodie 1a et 2a vice lecta est Billa, "An Act for the necessary Support of the Work of Draining the Great Level of the Fens."
ORDERED, That this Act be committed to these Lords following:

L. Lexington's Bill.
The Lord Mohun reported the Bill concerning the Lord Lexington, with some Alterations, which were read Twice; and ORDERED, That the Parties concerned in this Bill shall be heard, by their Counsel, at this Bar, on Monday Morning next.
Dr. Wyld's Cause.
ORDERED, That Doctor Wylde's Business shall be heard, by Counsel, at this Bar, on Tuesday Morning next.

ORDERED, That some of the King's Counsel do attend the Committee this Afternoon, concerning the Bill for the Fens.

A Message was brought from the House of Commons, by Sir Edward Turner Knight; who brought up divers Particulars, wherein their Lordships Concurrence is desired:
1. A Bill for enabling Sir George Booth to make Leases and Sales of Part of his Estate.
2. A Bill for naturalizing of Gerard Vanteythusen, Daniell Demetrius, Theodore Cock, John Cranenburgh, and others.
3. A Bill for the incorporating of the Master and Wardens of the Company of Haberdashers, London, to be Governors of the Free School and Alms-houses in Newport, in the County of Salop, &c.
4. An Order to pay One Thousand Pounds to one Swale. (Here enter it.)

ORDERED, That all the Prisoners that stand now in Restraint and Custody under the Gentleman Usher shall be released, paying their Fees.
Order for 1000£. to Swale.
ORDERED, by the Lords and Commons in Parliament assembled, That One Thousand Pounds, Part of the One Thousand Six Hundred Pounds drawn by several Bills of Exchange, on the Treasurer of the Contingencies of the late Council of State, by the Commissioners lately residing at The Sound, and payable to Robert Swale, of London, Merchant, be charged upon the Receipt of the Excise; and that the Commissioners of the Excise do pay the same to the said Mr. Swale, or his Assigns, out of the Monies coming into the said Receipt, in Course, towards Satisfaction of the said Bills: And this Order, together with the Acquittance of Mr. Swale, or his Assigns, testifying the Receipt thereof, shall be to the Commissioners of Excise a sufficient Warrant and Discharge."
Order for 2155£. 156. 10d. to L. Willoughby.
"ORDERED, by the Lords and Commons in Parliament assembled, That the Sum of Two Thousand One Hundred Fifty-five Pounds, Fifteen Shillings, Ten Pence, the Residue and Remainder of Three Thousand One Hundred Fifty-five Pounds, Fifteen Shillings, Ten Pence, charged by Ordinance of the Lords and Commons on the Receipt of Goldsmithes Hall, and payable in the Year One Thousand Six Hundred Forty and Six to the Lord Willoughby of Parham, as due to him on his Accompt, be, and is hereby, charged on the Receipt of the Excise, and to be paid by the Commissioners of Excise, in Course, to the said Lord Willoughby of Parham, or his Assigns, in full Satisfaction of the Money due and owing upon his Accompt as aforesaid: And this Order, together with the Acquittance or Acquittances of the said Lord Willoughby, or his Assigns, testifying his or their Receipt thereof, shall be to the said Commissioners of Excise a sufficient Warrant or Discharge."

Dr. Creighton's Order concerning the Rectory of Pensance.
ORDERED, That the Tithes and Profits of the Deanery of St. Burian be secured, in the Hands of David Grosse of Galvall, Joseph Noy of Burrian, Arthur Lavelis of Burrian, and Thomas Grosse of Pensance, until the Title of the said Rectory be determined by Law, between Doctor Creighton and the present Incumbent.

ORDERED, &c. That the Prisoners that stand now committed to the Gentleman Usher attending this House, for sitting in illegal High Courts of Justice, and an illegal Court Martial, be, and are hereby, discharged of their said Restraint and Imprisonment.
Dr. Wyld versus Rawlinson.
ORDERED, That the Cause between Doctor Wylde and Mr. Rawlinson shall be heard, at this Bar, on Tuesday next, the 3 of September, touching the Rectory of the Church of Lambeth, and securing the Profits thereof: And hereof both Parties are to have timely Notice, and attend the Hearing accordingly.
