Message from the King, for the Houses to attend Him.
The Lord Chancellor acquainted the House, "That he was commanded, by the King, to deliver a Message to their Lordships; which was, That His Majesty would expect both Houses of Parliament to attend Him To-morrow Morning, at Nine of the Clock, in Christ's Church Hall."
Which Message the House thought fit to communicate to the House of Commons, at a Conference.
Message to H. C. for a Conference about it.
A Message was sent to the House of Commons, by Sir William Childe and Sir Nathaniell Hobart:
To desire a present Conference, in the Astronomy School (which is designed for the Place of Conferences), touching a Message received from the King.
Bill for uniting Churches in Cities, &c.
Hodie 1a vice lecta est Billa, "An Act for uniting Churches in Cities and Towns Corporate."
The Messengers return with this Answer:
Answer from H. C.
That the House of Commons will give their Lordships a present Conference, in the Place appointed.
Absent Lords excused.
The Lord Chancellor acquainted the House of the Indisposition of the Lord Great Chamberlain; who desires their Lordships Excuse for his present Absence.
Which the House granted.
The Lord Chamberlain informed the House, "That the Earl of Warwick desires their Lordships Dispensation for his Absence from the attending this House, in regard of the ill Disposition of his Lordship's Health."
Which this House excused accordingly.
The House of Commons being come, the House was adjourned during Pleasure, and the Lords went to the Conference, at the Place appointed; which being ended, the House was resumed.
Then,
Adjourn.
