ORDERED, That the Earl of Bridgwater and the Earl of Middlesex shall both of them attend this House To-morrow Morning, at Ten of the Clock.

Observation of the Sabbath Bill.

The Lord Bishop of Sarum reported, "That the Committee have considered of the Bill for the better Observation of the Lord's-day; and their Lordships have made some few Alterations, which are offered to the Consideration of the House."

The which Alterations, being read Twice, were Agreed to.

Hodie 3a vice lecta est Billa, "An Act for the better Observation of the Lord's-day."

The Question being put, "Whether this Bill, with the Alterations now read, shall pass?"

It was Resolved in the Affirmative.

Bill to prevent Duels.

Hodie 1a vice lecta est Billa, "An Act to prevent the sending and carrying of Challenges, and fighting of Duels."

Report concerning Box's Free School at Witney Bill.

The Lord Bishop of Durham reported, "That the Committee have considered of the Bill for settling the Free School in Wittney; and have made some Alterations therein, which are offered to the Consideration of the House."

The said Alterations were read Twice, and Agreed to.

Hodie 3a vice lecta est Billa, "An Act for settling of a Free School in Wittney, in the County of Oxon, by Henry Box, Citizen and Grocer of London, deceased."

The Question being put, "Whether this Bill, with the Alterations now read, shall pass?"

It was Resolved in the Affirmative.

Select Vestries Bill.

The Lord Bishop of Sarum reported, "That the Committee have considered of the Bill for regulating Select Vestries; and do think it fit to pass as it is, without any Alterations or Amendments."

ORDERED, That this Bill is re-committed to the same Committee as formerly; who are to meet To-morrow Morning, at Nine of the Clock.

Message to H. C. with Bills.

A Message was sent to the House of Commons, by Sir William Glascocke and Sir Thomas Estcourt:

To return them Two Bills; One, for the better Observation of the Lord's-day; the other, for settling the Free School in Wittney; in both which Bills the Lords have made some small Alterations, and desire the Concurrence of the House of Commons therein.

Committees to meet.

ORDERED, That the Committee to consider of putting into Execution the Bill for repairing Streets and Highways, and also the Committee concerning Felons Convict, do meet this Afternoon, at Three of the Clock.

ORDERED, That this House doth dispense with the Absence of the Lord Herbert of Cherbury.

ORDERED, That the Lord Berkley of Berkley is added to the Committee for the Bill concerning Trade.

L. Abergaveny and Dowager Ly. Abergaveny.

ORDERED, That John Prosser, Martine Greene, and Hugh Hawker, shall attend this House To-morrow Morning, at Ten of the Clock, to be sworn at this Bar, as Witnesses on the Behalf of the Lord of Abergaveny, in some Matters of Difference between his Lordship and Elizabeth Lady Dowager of Abergaveny, depending now in this House: And herein they nor any of them may fail, as the contrary will be answered to this House.
