Heralds Bill to record Descents, &c.

ORDERED, That the Committee for the Bill concerning the Heralds Office shall meet on Thursday next, in the Afternoon.

Message from H. C. with a Bill to confirm Three Acts; and to remind the Lords of another Bill.

A Message was brought from the House of Commons, by Sir Thomas Meares Knight, and others; who brought up an Act, which hath passed the House of Commons, intituled, "An Act for confirming Three Acts, therein particularly mentioned," with Additions and Alterations to the last of them, wherein their Lordships Concurrence is desired.

2. To remind their Lordships of a Bill formerly sent up, for restoring Impropriations and Advowsons to such Persons that served the King in the late Troubles.

Hardy to obey the Order for re-intersing Abp. Parkes's Bones.

Upon Report made this Day by the Earl of Bollingbrooke, "That the Committee for Petitions have examined the Truth of the Matters alledged in the Petition of Mathew Hardy, who stands attached as a Delinquent, and is now in the Custody of the Serjeant at Arms attending this House, for not obeying of an Order of this House, made the 24th Day of July last; and the said Committee find, by Examination of Witnesses, that the said Hardy did not do any Thing towards the Obedience of the said Order until November last, and did then only employ Two Persons to dig at Random in the Garden of the Archbishop of Canterbury, and not in the Place where the said Hardy knew he had buried the Bones of Archbishop Parker; the Committee are of Opinion, That he is in Contempt of the Order of this House:"

Hereupon it is ORDERED, That the said Mathew Hardy shall have Liberty, upon good Security, from his present Restraint, for Ten Days from the Date hereof; in which Time he shall perform and do those Things which are required of him to be done by the said Order of the 24th of July last; and if he fail in the Performance thereof, then this House will proceed to further Consideration of his Contempt to this House; and afterwards he is to return into the said Serjeant's Custody again.
