A Message was brought from the House of Commons, by Mr. Annesley, &c.; who brought up divers Particulars, wherein (fn. 1)

The Order of the House of Commons, for the paying of Colonel Michaell Jones One Thousand Pounds, out of Goldsmithes Hall. (Enter it here.)

Then was read, an Order for Two Thousand Pounds, for Colonel Jones, out of the Sequestrations of the new Delinquents in North Wales. (Enter it here.)

Then was also read, an Order for One Thousand Pounds, for Colonel Lowthian, out of the Sequestrations of the new Delinquents in North Wales. (Enter it here.)

Preacher at the Fast.

Ordered, That Doctor Temple is excused from preaching, the next Fast; and Mr. Cawdrey is to be desired then to preach.

Chute's Petition.

The Petition of Richard Chuitt, read.

Ordered, That the Commissioners and Deputy Register, mentioned in the said Petition, shall have a Sight thereof, who are to put in their Answers in Writing thereunto into this House on Wednesday Three Weeks, that such further Directions may be given therein as shall be meet.

Wheeler's Order.

Ordered, It is referred to the Earl of Lyncolne, Earl of Manchester, Lord Hunsdon, to peruse Captain Bell's Orders; and to report the State of the Business to this House.

Lane and Bawd.

Upon Petition of Mountague Lane:

It is Ordered, That a Copy of the Petition, with an Order of this House, be left at the House of Mr. Bawde, in the Country where he lives, or with some of (fn. 3) his Tenants; and that he put in his Answer this Day Six Weeks.

Order for Payment of 1000 l. formerly ordered to Colonel Jones.

"Ordered, by the Lords and Commons assembled in Parliament, That the Sum of One Thousand Pounds, formerly granted and assigned to be paid unto Colonel Michaell Jones, Governor of Dublin, be charged upon the Moiety of the Receipts at Goldsmiths Hall not engaged, in Course, with Interest for the same after the Rate of Eight Pounds per Centum, payable every Six Months; and that the Acquittance or Acquittances of the said Colonel Jones, or his Assignee, shall be from Time to Time a sufficient Warrant and Discharge to the Treasurers at Goldsmiths Hall, for Payment of the said Sum of One Thousand Pounds and growing Interest, from the 3d of April last past, every Six Months, as aforesaid accordingly."

Wheeler to be Receiver of First Fruits.

"Ordered, by the Lords and Commons assembled in Parliament, That Mr. John Wheeler be in especial Manner recommended and referred to the Committee of the Revenue, to have the Place of Receiver of the First Fruits."

Order for 2000 l. for Col. Jones; and for 1000 l. for Col. Lowthian.

"Ordered, by the Lords and Commons assembled in Parliament, That the Sum of Two Thousand Pounds be forthwith issued, and paid unto Colonel Jones, upon Accompt, in Part of the Arrears due unto him upon his Entertainment in the Service of the Parliament; and that the said Sum of Two Thousand Pounds be forthwith issued, and paid unto the said Colonel Jones, or his Assignee, out of the First Monies that shall arise or be made out of the Sequestrations of the Estates Real and Personal of the new Delinquents in the late Insurrection in Anglesey: And all Committees, Sequestrators, Solicitors, Treasurers, Receivers, Tenants, and all other Persons that are or shall be authorized or concerned in the sequestering, receiving, paying, or issuing forth, of any the Rents, Profits, or Issues, of any the Estates Real or Personal of all or any of the said Delinquents, are hereby authorized and required respectively to issue forth and pay the said Sum of Two Thousand Pounds to the said Colonel Jones, or his Assignee, upon Accompt, as aforesaid; and the Acquittance or Acquittances of the said Colonel Jones, or his Assignee, shall be a sufficient Warrant and Discharge, from Time to Time, to the Persons aforesaid respectively, for Payment of the said Two Thousand Pounds, or any Part thereof, accordingly."
