Upon reading the Petition of Sir Peter Killegrew:

It is Ordered, To be sent to the House of Commons, with Recommendations, that something may be done therein for the Payment of his Arrears.

Pendred's Pet.

Upon reading the Petition of Wm. Penred:

It is Ordered, That the Keeper of The Gatehouse, on Monday Morning next, shall bring the Warrant by which the Petitioner stands committed to that Prison.

Message to the H. C. with Sir P. Killegrew's Pet.-about Morris's Ordinance; and the Short Catechism.

A Message was sent to the House of Commons, by Doctor Aylett and Dr. Heath:

1. To recommend to them the Petition of Sir Peter Killegrewe.

2. To put them in Mind of the Ordinance concerning Mr. Morris.

3. To desire Concurrence in the Order for printing of the Shorter Catechism.

Blackmer and Paris versus Wollaston.

Ordered, That Henry Wollaston shall put in his Answer to the Petition of Blackmer and Paris on Thursday come Sevennight.

Morris, alias Poyntz, & al. Pet. to be released.

Upon Consideration of the Report of the Judges; and also upon reading the Petition of John Browne Clerk of the Parliaments, with the Affidavits annexed, and likewise the Judgement of this House against John Morris, alias Poyntz, and Mary his Wife, Leonard Derby, John Harris, and Isabell Smyth, dated the 21 Septemb. 1647:

It is Ordered, That when the Parties adjudged in the said Judgement, or any of them, shall bring in the Exemplification under the Great Seal of England, concerning the Manor of Little Munden, in the County of Hertford, and also the forged Exemplification of the counterfeit Act of Parliament to which the Great Seal of England is charged to have been unduly and fraudulently affixed, that so the aforesaid forged Exemplification may be canceled and vacated, then this House will take their Releasement into Consideration.

E. I. Comp. Ordinance.

Ordered, That the Committee for the East India Company shall meet on Thursday next, in the Afternoon.

Hawke's Pet. to be restored to Upminster Living.

Upon reading the Petition of John Hawke:

It is Ordered, That the Minister that now officiates the Cure of the Parish of Upminster, in the County of Essex, shall shew Cause, by this Day Fortnight, why the said John Hawke should not be restored to the said Living.

Message to the H. C. for a Conference about their Order concerning Tattersall Castle.

Upon reading of an Order of the House of Commons, referring it to Colonel Rossiter and the Committee for the County of Lyncolne, to take Care that Tattershall Castle be continued in such Hands as the same now is; and that the same be not otherwise disposed of, without the Consent of the House of Commons; which Order being contrary to the Order of this House:

It is Ordered, To have a Conference with the House of Commons, concerning this Business, the next Time that House sits.

And accordingly a Message was sent to the House of Commons, by Doctor Aylett and Doctor Heath, to desire a Conference.

Ordinance concerning Church Government.

The House was adjourned during Pleasure; and the Business was read, concerning Church Government.

Ordered, That Mr. George Manley shall see the Petition of William Pendred, and put in his Answer on Tuesday next.

Ordinance concerning Church Government.

Ordered, That Church Government be considered of on Tuesday next.

A Paper concerning Bude, a Priest, read.

Smith and Davis.

Upon the Report of Mr. Justice Roll, made by Word of Mouth; signifying, "That himself and Two other of the Judges have heard the Counsel of Solomon Smith Plaintiff, and Edward Davis Defendant, touching the Business depending in this House between them, according to the Order of the 18th of February, 1647, to consider what Relief might be given to the Plaintiff; and upon a deliberate Consideration of the same, as the Case is, they conceive the said Plaintiff cannot be relieved, either in Law or Equity:"

It is Ordered, That the Errors depending in this House between the said Parties shall be proceeded in according to the ordinary Course of Writs of Error depending in Parliament.
