Subsidy, 15 ths and 10 ths.

HODIE 2a vice lecta est Billa, of a Subsidy, and Two Fifteenths and Tenths, granted by the Temporalty.

Queen restored in Blood.

Eodem die, 2a vice lecta est Billa, whereby the Queen's Highness is restored in Blood to the late Queen Anne Her Highness's (fn. 1) Mother, que communi omnium Procerum Assensu conclusa est.

Inhabitants of Wales and Chester.

The Inhabitants of the Shires of Wales, and County Palatine of Chester, who be charged as well with Payment of Myses, as with divers Subsidies now imminently due, and payable by their Knights and Burgesses of this present Parliament, made Petition and Suit unto the Lords, to be respited, and have longer Time for Payment of the same Subsidies and Myses, being so burdenous and chargeable unto them; in the treating and debating of which Suit and Cause, by the said Lords sitting in Parliament, it was by them thought good, the Queen's Highness should be moved therein, by the Lord Keeper of the Great Seal, who, having Knowledge of Her said Will and Pleasure, signified the same unto the said Lords; according to which, and for more Corroboration thereof, it was in Her Highness's Name; and then commanded an Entry thereof here to be made, the Tenor whereof ensueth, verbatim:

"It is Ordered and Decreed by the Queen's Highness, and assented unto by the Lords, That, in that Year in which Our Sovereign the Queen's Highness shall award Her Commission, for the Assessing and Payment of any Her Majesty's Subsidies now due, or by the Authority of this present Parliament to be due, the Shires of Wales and County Palatine of Chester, chargeable to the Payment of the same, and every of them, shall not be charged or chargeable with the Payment of the Myses now due to Her Majesty; nor in that Year in which Her Highness shall will Payment of the said Myses, the said Subsidies, nor any of them, shall be paid by any the said Shires or County Palatine aforesaid."

Adjourn.

Dominus Cancellarius continuavit presens Parliamentum usque in diem prox. hora nona.
