HODIE ipsi de Domo Communi, comparentes coram Domina Regina, apud Palatium suum Westm. vulgariter vocatum Whitehall, presentaverunt dicte Domine Regine Prolocutorem suum, Willielmum Cordell, Rotulorum Prefectum, quem prefata Domina Regina gratuiter et benevole acceptavit, qui quidem Willielmus, post Excusationem coram Domina Regina factam, pro eo quod ipsa sua Excusatio ex parte dicte Domine Regine admitti non potuit, eidem Domine Regine humiliter supplicavit, quatenus omnia et singula per ipsum, in presenti Parliamento, nomine predicte Communitatis, proferenda et declaranda, sub tali posset Protestatione proferre et declarare; quod siipse aliqua sibi per prefatos socios injuncta aliter quam ipsi concordati fuerint, aut in addendo vel omittendo declaraverit, ea sic declarata per predictos socios suos corrigere et emendare posset, et quod Protestatio sua hujusmodi in Rotulo Parliamenti inactaretur; cui per Dominum Cancellarium, de Mandato Regine, extitit Responsum, quod idem Prolocutor tali Protestatione frueretur et gauderet, quali alii Prolocutores, Tempore Nobilium Progenitorum ipsius Domine Regine, Regum Anglie, in hujusmodi Parliamentis uti et gaudere consueverunt.
