Item, hoc pomeridiano tempore, Richardus Ryche, Miles, Domus Inferioris Prolocutor, coram ipso Domino Rege, in Camera Parliamenti Regali in solio residente, presentibus totius Regni hujus Anglie Proceribus et Communitate ad presens hoc Parliamentum summonitis, ac Regio Mandato convocatis, Orationem declaravit, non minus egregiam, et verborum serie elegantem, quam gravem, sapientem, et doctam, qua quidem in Oratione Regie Majestatis Laudem enarrare exorsus est, eandem summis, et tanto quidem Principi dignis, Laudibus extollens; dotesque Gratie et Fortune prefati Domini Regis commemorans, eundem Soli comparavit, "nam quemadmodum (inquit) Sol omnes vapores, malosque humores, que nobis nocerent, exaltat, atque etiam semina, aliosque fructus ad nostram sustentationem maxime necessarios, suo calore nutrit, ita Excellentissimus hic noster Princeps omnes occasiones, que nobis aliquo modo in posterum officere posse videantur, sua providentia aufert, atque etiam bonas Leges sanxit, in bonorum defencionem, malorum vero maximum terrorem." Cui per Dominum Cancellarium, ex Mandato Regio, extitit responsum, cujus prima in parte declaravit, " Regiam Majestatem Laudes et Virtutes ejus in Oratione sibi ascriptas probe audiisse, verum in se tales non agnoscere; que tamen hujusmodi si sint, illas a Deo Optimo Maximo acceptas referre; veruntamen propterea, quod sua Sublimitas probe sciat bonam hanc opinionem, quam de ejus Virtutibus habetis ex animo procedere, me, ejus nomine, gratias vobis agere precepit." Deinde Dominus Cancellarius Proceribus tam Spiritualibus quam Temporalibus et Communitati declaravit, quatenus Regia Sublimitas omnibus Actibus, presenti hoc in Parliamento, per illos expeditis, Assensum suum Regium prebuerit; eisdem, nomine Regio, Licentiam dedit in suas domus revertendi: " placuit enim (inquit) Regie Majestati presens hoc Parliamentum jam nunc dissolvere, qui quidem Dominus Rex mihi in Mandatis dedit, ut vos universos, ejus nomine, exhortarer, ad singulos Actus bonum publicum concernentes, tam presenti hoc in Parliamento quam in aliis, editos, servandum, quantumque in vobis est, ab aliis servari saciendum."
