921. Mr John Collings attended and acquainted the Gentlemen Present that he Intends to leave off selling of ale & Beer and therefore desired that Mr. Thos Barnard may have a License in his room. Agreed That the sd. Thomas Barnard have leave to draw till the next General renewing upon Mr. Collings's quiting [sic] his Licence.
922. Richard Spurling appeared for Ann Newton and told the Gentlemen that he hath hired her but not for a year and that he doth not know her name. [See 923].

923. Complaint being made by Mr. Wm. Weston Churchwarden of the parish of Hackney against Ann Newton Singlewoman that he hath recd. Information that the said Ann Newton was about four years agoe delivered of female Bastard Child in the said parish called Hannah [and deleted] which is likely to become Chargeable to the said Parish. Ordered That the said Ann Newton be Summoned to attend us at the next meeting to be held here in order to be Examined upon Oath touching the [place deleted] putative father of the said Female Bastard Child. 928. Bromley Grove applyed for leave to sell Ale & Beer at the Red Cow at Dorleston in the room of Edwd. Pim. Agreed That he have leave to draw 'till the next General meeting for Licensing.
929. Hugh Davis applyed for a leave to sell Ale & Beer at the sign of the White Lyon in the Hamlet of Mile End old Towne. Agreed That he have leave according to his said request.

932. Frances Browne Widow of Ludlow Browne passed from the parish of St. James Clerkenwell to this parish made Oath that about a year and three Quarters ago she was married to the sd Ludlow Browne in the Liberty of the Fleet London according to the usage of the Church of England.

936. The Examination of Elizabeth Hutton widow of John Hutton was taken on oath touching the putative father of her female Bastard Child Born of her Body in the Hamlet of Bethnal Green on the fourth day of July last past and Signed an adjudication against John Varoon the reputed father thereof by Henry Norris and Samuel Tyssen Esqrs.

938. An order was Signed to remove Elizabeth March from the parish of St John at Hackney in the County of Middlesex to the parish of North Mim17in the County of Hertford as the place of her last legal Settlement.
939. Elizabeth Rhodes passed from the Parish of Saint Sepulcre in the County of Middlesex was Examined and is Settled here by her being bound apprentice to James North a Gardener and serving him above one year & a halfe.
940. John Cubbidge aged seven years Son of John Cubbidge and Elizabeth his wife [deletion] passed from the Liberty of Norton Falgate to this parish - Mary Cubbidge wife of Wm. Cubbidge made Oath that the said John Cubbidge Settlemt is here in right of her sd Husband who paid all Parochial Taxes in this Parish. [See 942].
941. Elizabeth Bleven made Oath that the bodies of Elizabeth Bailey Prudence Kirby & George Brownsword lately Deceased were Buried in Sheeps Wool only.
942. Henry Norris Esqr granted a Warrant to apprehend Elizabeth Cubbidge Widow of John Cubbidge Deceased for leaving her son John Cubbidge an Infant without making any Provision for him whereby he is become burthensome & chargeable to the parish of St John at Hackney on the Oath of Robt Aldwinckle Church Warden of the said Parish. 943. James Pryor who hath lately married Mary Beck widow of Randolph Beck applyed for leave to Sell ale & Beer at the sign of the Shoulder of Mutton and Cat 'till the next renewing of Licences for the Tower Division. Agreed That he have leave according to his said request. [See 930].

945. Ordered That John Harrison aged ten years a poor Child of this Parish do go upon likeing to James Shears a cordwainer who lives adjoyning to the Work house belonging to the parish of St. Giles in the fields in the County of Middlesex. [See 947].
946. Complaint having been made against John Jones who lives at the watch house on the foot way leading to London for suffering several disorders to be committed in the said house so that it is become a nusance to persons passing and repassing that way Do hereby order that the said Jones do forthwith provide another Lodging for himselfe and family and that the sd. House be shut up and fastened in the securest manner as can be.

948. Zacheus Moyse passed from St Botolph without Aldgate Middx: Examined and his settlemt is in this parish.
949. Sarah Holbrook passed from St. Luke in the County of Middx: Examined and her Settlemt is in this parish.
950. Elizabeth Wheatley passed from the Parish of St. Giles in the Fields in the County of Middlesex Examined and said that her husband Joseph Wheatley told her that he served his time with [Mr Wright a deleted] Mr. White a Baker in Church Street in Hackney to be further inquired into, Mr. Aldwinckle being of Opinion that the said Mr White never had an Apprentice.
