Beltoft in the Isle of Haxiholm. Two parts of a bovate of land held of John de Moubray by service of 1/100 knight’s fee.
Agnes daughter of Henry de Beltoft, aged 45, Margaret her sister, aged 35, whom William Norreys married, and Joan another sister, aged 32, whom Richard Stutt married, are his kinswomen and next heirs.

A moiety of the manor, with a tenement therein called ‘le Scho’ (?), held for a carucate of land of the king in chief, of the inheritance of Henry de Lascy sometime earl of Lincoln, by service of homage, fealty, 1/20 knight’s fee, suit at the king’s court of Cliderhou, and 3d. yearly for the guard of the king’s castle of Lancaster.
Richard son of John de Hodelston, aged 40, is his kinsman, and next heir.

Petition to the chancellor that no prejudice may be done to the true heir of Sir William de Caunteton, who died in Ireland, by the inquisition taken at the suit of David his brother, who is in England, which was passed by simple men who had no knowledge of the fact, to the disherison of the heir who is in Ireland, aged 5 years, and of the lords of the fee; and praying for another inquisition, by knights and good men who have knowledge of the said heir’s right. Aldewerk. The manor, held in fee tail, by the enfeoffment of Thomas de Wherleton, parson of the church of Rudby, to the said Nicholas and the heirs male of his body, with remainders to Nicholas, son of Lucy daughter of Robert de Tweng, and the heirs male of his body, and to the right heirs of the said Nicholas de Menill, by fine levied in the king’s court; which manor together with the manors of Qwerleton, Semer, Eston, Midelton, Carleton, Pothowe, Tranholm and Boynton, is held of the archbishop of Canterbury by service of being his butler on the day of his consecration. The said Nicholas de Menill was sometime seised of the manor of Boynton in the same manner as of Aldewerk, but five years before his death he enfeoffed thereof the said Nicholas son of Lucy according to the form of the fine aforesaid.
