469. JOAN, YOUNGEST DAUGHTER AND ONE OF THE HEIRS OF PHILIP MARMIOUN.
Writ to Walter de Gloucester, escheator, to take the proof of age of the said Joan, who was born at Middelton by Tamworth, co Warwick, and baptized in the church there, as is said, and says she is of full age and seeks the lands &c. of her inheritance which are in the king’s wardship, 18 Aug. 27 Edw. I.

[BUCKINGHAM.] Extent made on Friday after St. Michael, 24 Edw. I.
Wendover. The manor (extent given) held in dower, of the inheritance of the heirs of Fyenes, of the king by knight’s service.
She died on Sunday after the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, 24 Edw. I. William de Fyenes is right heir of the said manor, and of full age.
