Beuchaump Willam. 72a. arable, 4a. meadow, 3a. pasture, 22a. wood, 16s. 4d. assised rent, and works of customers with gavelacre, cocks and hens, worth 20s., held of Robert de Ver, earl of Oxford, by service of 1/18 knight’s fee.
Isabel his daughter, aged 24, by whom Simon de Pateshull has lawfull issue, is his next heir.

Fryseby. 36 bovates of land and a moiety of a water-mill, held of Richard Folyot, which Jordan Folyot his father gave in free marriage with Beatrice his daughter to Simon de Steyngreve, father of the said John. The 36 bovates are let to farm (ponuntur ad altam firmam) for 18l. a year.

The manor (full extent given), including 20s. 10d. yearly from divers tenants in Bromham, held of the king in chief by the courtesy of England for a ninth part of the barony of Bedford by service of 1/3 knight’s fee; and there are due to mowers of custom 20d., to customers for ploughing 31 1/2a. 15s. 9d., and to the king for view of frankpledge 4s. 5 1/2d. He held nothing in the county of any other than the king.

Pulrebache. The manor (extent given) held of the king in chief by service of a knight’s fee.
Joan the wife of Alexander de Frivile, and Ralph son of Ralph le Botiler, who is son of Maud sister of the aforesaid Joan, are her next heirs and of full age.
WARWICK. Inq. Saturday after St. Giles, 23 Edw. I.
Tamwrth. The castle, a water-mill beneath the castle, 12 free tenants by burgage, 2s. or a sore sparrowhawk yearly from the manor of Poleye, 14a. arable in Aschelond, 13a. beneath the castle, a plot of meadow and pasture beneath the mill pond, and a fishery in the river Auncre belonging to the castle, held of the king in chief, together with other tenements whereof Philip Marmyun died seised in divers counties, by service of 3 knights’ fees.
The prebend of the deanery of Tamwrth belongs to the castle, and the church is in the county of Stafford.
Middelton. Three free tenants rendering 4s. 4 1/2d. yearly, and a fourth part of two parts of the park and of the foreign wood, held of the church of Tamwrth.
Joan the wife of Alexander de Fryevile, daughter of Mazera elder sister of Joan de Morteyn, and Ralph de Botyller, son of Maud younger sister of Mazera sister of Joan, are next heirs of the said Joan and of full age. Philip Marmyon father of the said Joan, Mazera and Maud, had a daughter named Joan by his second wife, who is yet in the king’s wardship by reason of her minority, and it is not known whether she ought to have a part of the inheritance of Joan de Morteyn or not.

La Hide. The manor (extent given), held by reason of Margaret his wife, who survives, who was enfeoffed thereof by Roger now bishop of Coventry and Lichfield three years and more before she married the said Urian, to hold to her and her heirs, held of the said bishop by service of a rose yearly, and two appearances at his court of Brewod.

Honyngham. A capital messuage, 40a. arable, 2a. meadow, 4 customers holding 1 1/2 virgate and two parts of 1/2 virgate of land, 4 cottars and a plot, acquired jointly with Margaret his wife, who survives, of Ralph de Bicre (?) by his enfeoffment, to hold to them and their heirs of Sir John de Hastyng’ by service of 1/3 knight’s fee.

Walton. A messuage and a virgate of land with a meadow thereto pertaining, held of Sir Roger de Monte Alto by service of 16s. yearly.

Walton. 4 virgates of land, and 17l. rents, acquired to himself and Margaret his wife, who survives, of Sir Gilbert Haunsard, who enfeoffed them to hold to them and their heirs of himself by service of a pair of gloves.

Malpas (in Malo Passu). A fourth part of the barony, the pourparty of Idonea late his wife, daughter and one of the heirs of David de Malo Passu, held by the courtesy of England of the king in chief, including:—
Malpas. A carucate of land, a fourth part of the advowson of the church, and a court of free tenants.
Cudington. A fourth part of the manor.

And before the same jury, Margaret late the wife of the said Urian was dowered by the king’s writ, of 6l. from the portion of Shipbrok held of the king, of 4l. from the portion of the eighteenth part of the barony of Nantwich, and of 10l. from the third part of Cherlton.

Drenghous in the wapentake of Hainsti. 9 bovates of land with a moiety of a messuage, 20a. of ‘forland,’ and 6a. meadow, held of the treasurer of York, rendering 5s. yearly and suit of court every three weeks.

Fyringford. A moiety of the manor (extent given) held by the service abovesaid.
Herdwik. The manor (full extent given with details of services), which King Henry I gave to the abbot and convent of Seys in frank almoin, who gave it to the ancestors of the said Robert to hold of them as freely as they themselves held it, so that the manor is charged with no service.
Ruthereford. The manor (extent given), one moiety held of the earl of the Isle (comite de Insula), and the other moiety held of the earl of Ferers in chief, by service of a knight’s fee.
