The premises descended to Alice his sister and heir. She married Richard Sibyle and had a daughter Elizabeth.
Alice died on 11 June last. Elizabeth is her heir, aged 10 years and more. Richard is holding the premises by the courtesy of England, with reversion to Elizabeth.

She held in fee tail 2 messuages, 9 shops with solars above, 5 cottages with chambers and a wharf in the parish of All Hallows the Great. William Tarent, Walter Mydilton, clerk, and Richard Mauffe held these premises in their demesne as of fee and granted them to Nicholas Loveyn, knight, and Margaret then his wife to hold to them and the heirs of their bodies. Their daughter Margaret married Richard Chaumberleyn and had issue Richard. Richard the father died and Margaret married Philip Seincler, knight, and had two sons, John and Thomas. Richard the son is next heir of Margaret.

She held more than was found in the former inquisition [CIPM XIX, no. 656], namely in Penshurst: 30 a. called Letherham, annual value 6d. the a. and 33 1/2 a. meadow called ‘Langemede’, annual value 12d. the a., of the prior of St. John of Jerusalem in England, services unknown; 2 a. meadow called ‘Jakelynsmede’ and 1 a. called ‘Brookmed’ of Walter atte Foorth, service unknown, annual value 12d. the a.; the advowson of a chapel or chantry in Penshurst and 45s. rent from free tenants in Penshurst, Chiddingstone, Bidborough and Leigh, of the earl of Stafford of his castle of Tonbridge, service unknown. The earl holds of the archbishop of Canterbury. The rent and the tenements from which it is derived are held by common law and ‘francfee’ and should descend to Richard son of Margaret and of Richard Chamberleyn her first husband, as next heir. He is aged 22 years and more. The holdings of the prior and of Walter atte Foorth are in gavelkind and should be divided between male heirs, namely Richard Chamberleyn the son, John his brother aged 19 years, and John Seyntcler aged 16 on 1 June last, and Thomas his brother, aged 10 years, the sons of Margaret and Philip Seyntcler.

She held a 4th part of the manor of Kingsholm in her demesne as of fee of the king in chief by the grand serjeanty of serving in the pantry on the day of the coronation. The whole manor is held of the king and his heirs, annual value of the 4th part 27s.11d.
She died on 13 April last. Joan wife of John Walker, Margery wife of Robert Dyngull, Alice wife of John Adam, Margaret wife of Richard Hauker, Emma wife of John Hyott, daughters of Eve, and John son of Cecily her late 6th daughter are next heirs. He held the manor of Eynsford of the archbishop of Canterbury of his manor of Otford by suit of court there every 3 weeks. There are very ruinous buildings, annual value nil; £6 in rents payable by equal parts at the 4 terms; 10 a. meadow at 2s.6d. the a.; and the remainder of the manor in lands, woods, mills and other appurtenances 10 marks.
He also held 90 a. pasture for sheep in Eynsford called ‘Boure’ of John la Souche, knight, in gavelkind, annual value 3s.4d.
Thomas Morton, John Proude and John Frensshe held the manor of Stockbury in their demesne as of fee of the king by knight service and a rent of 14s. payable at Rochester castle on St. Andrew’s eve, and gave it by royal licence [CPR 1377–81, p.109] to Nicholas Kyriell, father of William, and Elizabeth wife of Nicholas, who is still living, and the heirs of their bodies with remainder to his right heirs.

Writ, melius sciri, when he was indicted of felony at Bridgwater on 29 May 1398 it was not stated of whom and by what services his premises were held 23 May 1413.

James Daudeley, by the name of James Daudeley, lord of Red Castle and Heighley, granted to William Magot and Agnes then his wife by charter, dated at Nether Stowey on 8 Nov 1384 and shown to the jurors, the reversion of 2 cottages, 24 a. arable and 2 a. meadow in Cossington, described as all that he had acquired from Edmund Barry, chaplain, in Cossington, and which he formerly gave to Maud de Heyghworth for her life, to hold to them after her death for their lives, rendering a rose at Midsummer to James. Maud attorned to them. She died and they entered and held the premises.
Owing to the felony of William Magot the premises came into the hands of Richard II and are now in the present king’s hands, held of the heir of John Brent, service unknown, annual value 13s.4d.

He held the manor of Keynes Court in Purton for life by the grant of John Cressy, deceased, with reversion to himself, of the abbot of Malmesbury, service unknown, annual value 100s. John son of John Cressy, a minor in the king’s ward, is heir of John being the brother of Thomas son of John, aged 6 years and more.
William Brantyngham died on 15 July last without heirs.

It is held of the king of the honor of Leicester by knight service, annual value £40. Christina widow of John Cressy holds a 3rd part in dower.

The jurors know of no holdings except the manor of Oxhill of which he disseised Lewis Cardygan and Alice his wife in the time of Richard II, Alice being the rightful tenant. He held it until he enfeoffed John Brantyngham and his heirs. John held and showed his charter of seisin to the jurors, but Lewis and Alice had ejected him. It is held of the king in chief, service unknown, annual value 100s.
William Brantyngham had no rights in the manor after the enfeoffment. He died on 15 July last. John his heir is aged 30 years and more.

He held the manors of Tytherley alias East Tytherley and Lockerley to himself and his heirs of the king in chief by knight service by the grant of Henry IV [CPR 1405–8, pp.405–6]. They are burdened with annuities of £10 each granted to Thomas Shepey and James Hoget, esquires, for the term of their lives by Henry IV. Beyond them the annual value is £20.
He died on 11 Sept. last. Thomas his son and heir was aged 9 years and more on that day.
