Papal prov. of a preb. in Lincoln 17 March 1297 (Reg. Bon. VIII no. 1735 = C.P.L. I 569). Not included in papal excomm. and depr. of Colonna family, 23 May (above). Claiming his preb. (? this preb.) 10 and 28 Dec. 1297 (Reg. Sutton VI 48, 62-3). Also preb. of York. This preb. said to be vacant 21 Nov. 1299, by d. in Lombardy of a Roman who held it (Chancery Warrants 1244-1326 (1927) p. 105). Nephew of cardinal James de Colonna, can. (list 60); cousin of John de Colonna, his predecessor in this preb., and of Odo de Colonna, can. (list 32).
