NIcholas du Pin did this Day take the Oaths of Allegiance and Supremacy, before the Speaker, at the Clerk's Table, in order to his Naturalization.

Repairing Churches.

A Bill for repairing and maintaining of Churches, was read the Second time.

Resolved, &c. That the Bill be committed to Sir Adam Browne, Sir Solom. Swale, Mr. Westphaling, Sir Richard Oateley, Sir Courtney Poole, Mr. Steward, Sir Robert Atkins, Sir Jo. Talbott, Colonel Phillips, Sir Robert Carr, Sir Wm. Lowther, Sir Hugh Bethell, Sir Jo. Newton, Sir Herbert Price, Mr. Lucy, Sir Nich. Slaning, Sir Clifford Clifton, Sir Gilbert Talbott, Mr. Spry, Colonel Hollis, Serjeant Mainard, Sir Thom. Gower, Sir Charles Harbord, Mr. Hoby, Mr. Crouch, Sir Wm. Childstealing.

A Bill against stealing of Children, was read the First time.

Resolved, That this Bill be read a Second time.

Moseley's Estate.

A Bill to enable Edward Moseley Esquire to sell Lands, was read the First time.

The Question being put, That the Bill be read a Second time;

Ordered, That Leave be given to bring in a Bill to enlarge the Time for Payment of the Money, and preventing the Forfeiture of the Estate: And it is referred to Mr. Solicitor General, Mr. Milward, Sir Job Charlton, Mr. Steward, or any Two of them, to prepare and bring in a Bill, on the Behalf of Mr. Moseley.

Duty on Brandy.

Ordered, That such Witnesses, as are desired on the Behalf of the Merchants, be required to attend on Tuesday Morning next; to testify in the Matter upon their Complaint concerning Brandy: And that the Counterpart of the Patent of the Farmers of Excise, of the 17 Years of his Majesty's Reign, be then brought in by such Person as hath it in his Custody.

Orders postponed.

Ordered, That all such Bills, as were appointed to be read this Day, be read To-morrow.

Regulating Jurors, &c.

Ordered, That the Report of the Bill concerning Jurors; and of the Bill touching Prisoners; he heard To-morrow Morning.

Deeping Fenn, &c.

Ordered, That the ingrossed Bills, concerning Deeping Fenn; and Dr. Wharton; and other ingrossed Bills; be read To-morrow Morning.

King appoints to be attended.

Mr. Speaker, The Lords have sent us to acquaint you, that his Majesty is to be attended with both Houses, in the Banqueting House at Whitehall, at Four of the Clock this Afternoon.

Supply Bill; Wine Duties.

The House then resolved into a Committee of the whole House, upon the Bill for his Majesty's Supply.

Mr. Speaker left the Chair.

Sir Robert Atkins took the Chair of the Committee.

Mr. Speaker resumed the Chair.

Sir Robert Atkins reports, That the said Committee had made a good Progress in the Bill for his Majesty's Supply; and moved, that the House would resolve into a Committee of the whole House, to proceed in the further Consideration thereof.

Resolved, That this House doth agree with the Committee, That this House will resolve into a Committee of the whole House To-morrow Morning, to proceed in the further Consideration of the Bill for his Majesty's Supply.

Duty on Brandy.

Ordered, That the Debate of the Duty concerning Brandy, and the Hearing of the Merchants to their Petition against the Farmers of Excise, appointed for Tomorrow Morning, be adjourned till Tuesday Morning next.

Committees.

Ordered, That all Committees, that were to sit this Afternoon, be adjourned till To-morrow in the Afternoon Two of the Clock, except the Committee to which the Bill concerning the City of London, is committed.

And then the House adjourned till Three of the Clock in the Afternoon.

THE House being met, Mr. Speaker, with the House, went in a Body to attend his Majesty, in the Banquet House at Whitehall, in pursuance of a Message sent from the Lords this Morning.
