Leave of Absence.

ORDERED, That Mr. Rashleigh have the Leave of this House to go into the Country.

Ordered, That Mr. George Howard have the Leave of this House to go into the Country.

Members receiving the Sacrament.

Sir Allen Broadrick delivers in to the Clerk the Notes of the Names of such Members as received the Sacrament of the Lord's Supper at Saint Margarett's, Westminster.

Ordered, That the Thanks of this House be returned to Doctor Outrim and Mr. Wotton, for the Sermons by them preached Yesterday, before this House in Saint Margeret's Church, Westminster: And Mr. Crouch is to return the Thanks of the House to Doctor Outrim.

Bodvell's Estate.

An ingrossed Bill for settling the Estate of John Bodvell Esquire, deceased, was read.

Resolved, &c. That December be inserted, instead of September, in the Bill for settling the Estate of John Bodvell Esquire, deceased.

Which was done.

Resolved, &c. That the Words "and wicked" be struck out of the Bill.

Resolved, &c. That the Bill do pass: And that the Title be, An Act for settling the Estate of John Bodvell Esquire, deceased: And that Sir Jonathan Trelawny do carry up the Bill to the Lords.

Supply Bill.

The Bill for raising Part of the One million Eight hundred thousand Pounds Supply for his Majesty, by Eleven Months Assessment in Post Charge, was read the Second time.

Resolved, &c. That the Bill be committed to a Committee of the whole House.

Foreign Cattle.

Resolved, &c. That it be referred to Mr. Solicitor, Sir Robert Howard, Colonel Strangwaies, Sir Thom. Littleton, Sir Fran. Goodrick, Sir Robert Atkins, Sir Thom. Meres, Mr. Garraway, Sir Geo. Downing, Serjeant Charlton, Sir Richard Temple, Sir Richard Ford, to prepare and draw up Reasons for a Conference with the Lords, for this House adhering and disagreeing as to the Amendments, sent from the Lords, to the Bill concerning Foreign Cattle.

Winchelsea Election.

Ordered, That the Report concerning the Election of Winchelsea be made on Friday Morning, Ten of the Clock.

Higgons' Claim.

Ordered, That the Report of Sir Thomas Higgons' Bill be made on Saturday Morning next.

Poll Bill.

Resolved, &c. That a Committee be appointed to consider of the Heads of the Poll Bill; and thereupon prepare and bring in an Estimate of what may be thereby raised towards his Majesty's Supply; viz. Mr. Swynfen, Mr. Garraway, Sir Wm. Lowther, Sir Charles Harbord, Colonel Strangwaies, Sir John Lowther, Colonel Birch, Sir Edm. Wallpoole, Sir John Birkenhead, Sir Fran. Goodrick, Sir Anth. Irby, Sir Job Charlton, Sir Phill. Warwick, Mr. Jolly, Mr. Jones, Sir Robert Howard, Mr. Spry; or any Five of them: And they are to meet this Afternoon at Two of the Clock, in the Speaker's Chamber.

Burying in Woolen.

A BILL for burying Persons in Woolen only, was read the Second time.

Resolved, &c. That the Bill be committed to Mr. Pryn, Sir Thom. Higgons, Mr. Pepis, Mr. Comptroller, Sir Thom. Littleton, Sir Edm. Bowyer, Colonel Sandys, Sir Richard Temple, Mr. Garraway, Sir Edw. Masters, Sir Richard Oateley, Sir Solom. Swale, Sir Geo. Downing, Sir Thom. Lee, Sir Wm. Lowther, Sir John Knight, Mr. Pleydall, Mr. Morice, Sir Jonathan Trelawney, Sir Thom. Allen, Sir Thom. Gower, Mr. Progers, Sir John Shaw, Doctor Burwell: And that this Committee be joined to the Committee formerly appointed for improving the English Manufactures; which is hereby revived: And that the Committee do sit To-morrow at Three of the Clock in the Afternoon, in the Speaker's Chamber: And to send for Persons, Papers, and Records: And it is recommended to Sir Geo. Downing to take care of the Bill.

Publick Accompts.

The House then resolved into a Committee of the whole House, to proceed on the Proviso for taking the Accompt of the Publick Monies on Oath.

Mr. Steward took the Chair of the Committee.

Mr. Speaker resumed the Chair.

Mr. Steward reports, That the Committee of the whole House had gone through the Proviso concerning the Taking of Accompts of Monies for carrying on the War; and made several Amendments thereunto: And, as to some Blanks in the Proviso, it was the Opinion of the Committee, That the House be humbly moved to fill them up.

Resolved, &c. That Mr. Steward do make his Report, as to the said Proviso, To-morrow Morning, Ten of the Clock.

And then the House adjourned till To-morrow Morning, Eight of the Clock.
