Ld. Strangford's Estate.

Mr. Hardress reports from the Committee to which the additional Bill to enable a Sale of Lands for Payment of the Lord Strangford's Debts, . . . . some Amendments agreed to be made to the Bill: Which he read, with the Coherence, and delivered the same in at the Clerk's Table: And the Amendments were twice read; and, upon the Question, agreed to.

Another Clause was tendered; and twice read; and, upon the Question, agreed to.

Resolved, &c. That the Bill, with the Amendments agreed to, be ingrossed.

Fance's Estate.

Sir John Heath reports from the Committee to which the Bill for making good a Recovery heretofore suffered by Bonham Fance Esquire . . . . some Amendments agreed by the Committee, to be made to the Bill: Which he read, with the Coherence; and after delivered the same in at the Clerk's Table. And the Amendments being twice read; and, upon the Question, severally agreed to;

Resolved, &c. That the Bill, with the Amendments agreed to, be ingrossed.

Ordered, That the Bill, when ingrossed, be read after Ten of the Clock.

Leave of Absence.

Ordered, That Sir Richard Wyn have the Leave of this House to go into the Country for Ten Days.

Loyal Officers.

Ordered, That the Committee to which the Matter touching the indigent loyal Officers was committed, be revived; and do sit this Afternoon: And that Sir John Knight, Colonel Windham, Mr. Rigby, Colonel Gilby, Sir Thomas Clifford, Sir Thomas Allen, Sir Roger Bradshaigh, Colonel Kirkby, Sir Thom. Higgons, Mr. Jonathan Trelawney, Mr. Mallet, Sir Clifford Clifton, be added to the Committee.

Bristoll Return.

The Clerk of the Crown's Deputy came to the Table of the House; and cancelled and withdrew the false Return for the City of Bristoll.

A Person discharged.

A Petition of Thomas Sangton Esquire, Mayor of the City of Bristoll, was read.

Resolved, &c. That the Mayor of Bristoll be discharged from the Custody of the Serjeant at Arms, paying his Fees.

Supply.

The House then resolved into a Committee of the whole House, to proceed in the Consideration of his Majesty's Supply.

Mr. Speaker left the Chair.

Papists.

A Message from the Lords, by Sir Justinian Isham and Sir Mondeford Brampston;

Mr. Speaker, the Lords have commanded us to acquaint you, that they do concur with this House in the Votes concerning the Papists: And have appointed Twelve of their House to attend his Majesty with the said Votes; and desire this House to appoint a proportionable Number of this House to join with their Lordships in attending his Majesty.

French Commodities.

Resolved, &c. That the Members appointed to attend his Majesty with the Votes against the Importation of French Commodities, do join with the Twelve Lords appointed to attend his Majesty with the Votes for Suppressing of Popery.

A Message from the Lords, by * * * *;

Mr. Speaker, The Lords have commanded us to acquaint you, That his Majesty hath appointed this Afternoon, at Five of the Clock, to be attended at Whitehall, by the Committee of both Houses, with the Votes against the Importation of French Commodities, and for suppressing the Papists.

Mr. Speaker left the Chair.

Mr. Millward took the Chair of the Committee.

Mr. Speaker resumed the Chair.

Mr. Millward reports, That the Committee had made some Progress in the Consideration of his Majesty's Supply: And humbly moved, That the House would resolve into a Committee again on Friday Morning, to proceed in the further Consideration thereof.

Resolved, &c. That the House, according to former Order, be resolved into a Committee of the whole House on Friday Morning next, to proceed in the Business of his Majesty's Supply.

Committees.

Ordered, That all Committees which were to sit this Afternoon, be adjourned till Friday, Two of the Clock in the Afternoon; and are to sit in the Places formerly appointed.
