Weaving Trade.

A BILL to prevent Abuses, and to regulate the Trade of Weaving, was this Day read the Second time.

Resolved, &c. That the said Bill be committed to Mr. Jones, Mr. Milward, Sir Fra. Goodrick, Sir Solomon Swale, Colonel Gilby, Sir John Shaw, Mr. Daniell, Sir Cha. Harbord, Colonel Birch, Mr. Jolly, Sir John Birkinhead, Sir John Goodrick, Sir Robert Holt, Mr. Harbord, Sir Gervas Clifton, Sir Tho. Allen, Mr. Steward, Sir Rich. Browne, Sir Theo. Order amended.

Ordered, That the Order made Yesterday, as to the Committee touching Lyndsey Level, be amended, the Motion being mistaken; and that the Word "Hatfeild," be inserted in the stead of "Lyndsey."

Boston Election.

Serjeant Charlton reports from the Committee of Privileges and Elections, touching the Election for the Borough of Boston in the County of Lincolne, between Sir Anthony Irby and Major Thory, That the Opinion of the Committee was, That the Inhabitants, if they were not Freemen, had not Voices in the Election; and that Sir Anthony Irby was duly elected.

Resolved, &c. That this House doth agree with the Committee, That Sir Anthony Irby was duly elected, and ought to sit.

Fowler's, &c. Letters Pat.

Ordered, That the Bill, brought in this Day, to make void Two Letters Patents granted by the King's Majesty, be read To-morrow Morning.

Excise.

Ordered, That the Bill delivered in, touching the Arrears of the Excise, be read To-morrow Morning.

Militia.

The House did then resolve itself into a Committee of the whole House, to proceed upon the additional Bill for the better ordering the Forces in the several Counties of this Kingdom.

Mr. Speaker left the Chair.

Mr. Milward took the Chair of the Committee.

Mr. Speaker again took the Chair.

Mr. Milward reports from the Committee, That the Committee had made some further Progress in the said Bill; and desired, that the House would again resolve itself into a Committee of the whole House, on Tuesday Morning next, at Ten of the Clock, to resume the Debale upon the said Bill.

Resolved, &c. That the House will, on Tuesday Morning next, at Ten of the Clock, resolve itself into a Committee of the whole House, to resume the Debate upon the said Bill.

Leave of Absence.

Ordered, That Sir Maurice Berkley have the Leave of this House to go over into Ireland.

Exchequer Decrees.

Ordered, That all the Members of this House that serve for the Counties of Lincolne and Nottingham, and Mr. Vaughan, and Mr. Flint, be added to the Committee to which the Bill for confirming Two Decrees was committed.

Defaulter's Fine remitted.

Ordered, That Mr. Richard Lewis, having been sick, and not able to attend the Service of this House, be discharged of the Fine of Five Pounds, imposed on him for his Default.

Leave of Absence.

Ordered, That Sir Thomas Dyke have the Leave of this House to go into the Country.

And then the House adjourned till To-morrow Morning, Eight of the Clock.
