A Bill for Naturalizing of Charlotte Hessen Killigrew, and several other Persons, was this Day read the Second time.
Resolved, &c. That this Bill be committed to the Committee to which the First Bill of Naturalizing was committed: And that the Committee be revived: And that these Persons following be added to the Committee; viz. Sir Tho. Strickland, Mr. Oldfeild, Mr. Hoby, Mr. Elliot, Sir Tho. Littleton, Mr. Moore, Mr. Turgis, Mr. James, Sir Edm. Bowyer, Sir Edm. Ordered, That the Bill for restoring in Blood of Elizabeth Cheadle, an Infant, be read on Thursday Morning next.

Mr. George reports from the Committee to which the Bill for better Observation of the Lord's Day was recommitted, upon the Amendment formerly reported, concerning decent Demeanor in the Church, That the Committee had met, and thought fit to omit the Words "be or sit irreverently or undecently."

Preserving Woods, &c.
Ordered, That Sir Thomas Tompkins do carry up the Two ingrossed Bills for preventing the Cutting and Stealing of Wood; and for enabling the Sale of some of the Lands of Richard and Anthony Seignior; to the Lords for their Concurrence.
Ministers Maintenance.
The House then resolved itself into a Committee of the whole House, to proceed in the further Consideration of the Bill for the Increase of the Maintenance of Ministers in Cities, Towns Corporate, and Market Towns.

Sir Thomas Meres took the Chair of the Committee.
Mr. Speaker re-assumed the Chair.
Sir Thomas Meres reports from the Committee, That they had made some further Progress in the said Bill: And that it was the Opinion of the Committee, That the House would again resolve itself into a Committee of the whole House, upon Saturday next, at Ten of the Clock in the Morning, to proceed upon the same.
Resolved, &c. That the House, on Saturday next, at Ten of the Clock in the Morning, will resolve itself into a Committee of the whole House, to proceed in the Bill for the Maintenance of Ministers, in Cities, Towns Corporate, and Market Towns.
Clothing Trade.
The Question being put, That the Committee for the Clothing Trade, appointed to sit this Afternoon, be adjourned till Thursday next, at Two of the Clock in the Afternoon;
