Poor Relief.

A BILL for the Explaining and Enlarging an Act made in the Three-and-fortieth Year of Queen Elizabeth, for Relief of the Poor, was this Day read the First time.

Resolved, &c. That the said Bill be read the Second time on Monday next.

Hackney Coachmen.

A Petition of divers distressed Hackney Coachmen, and Widows of Coachmen, in and about the Cities of London and Westminster, and Bills of Mortality, was this Day read.

A Bill to prevent the Abuses in Silk-dying, was this Day read the First time.

Ordered, That the particular Committee appointed to prevent Incroachments in Trade, do consider of the present Debate touching the Abuses in the heavy Dying of Silk: And are to receive such Proposals as shall be made for Remedy thereof; and report the Matter, and their Opinion thereupon, to the House.
