Navigable Rivers.

ORDERED, That the Committee to which the Bill for making Three Rivers therein mentioned navigable, was committed, be revived; and that they do sit, at the Place appointed, this Afternoon: And Mr. Long, Mr. Wyndham, and Mr. Bunkley, are added to the said Committee.

Bonelace, &c.

A Bill against the Wearing and Importing of Foreign Bonelace, &c. was this Day read the Second time.

Resolved, That the said Bill be committed to Sir Courtney Poole, Mr. Jones, Sir Rich. Ford, Mr. Knight, Mr. Clifford, Sir Clifford Clifton, Mr. Smith, Sir Lan. Customs.

A Proviso was tendered to be added to the Bill, for Customs, for Imposition of a Rate upon Sea Coals to be exported from Sunderland.

The Question being put, That the Proviso for an Imposition of the same Custom and Rate upon Sunderland Coals to his Majesty that is paid for Newcastle Coals, be referred to the Committee, to which the Bill for regulating and settling his Majesty's Customs is committed; to examine and Report the Matter of Fact to this House;

And so it was resolved in the Affirmative.

Relief of Loyalists.

A Report was this Day made by Mr. John Ashburnham, That he had attended his Majesty upon the Order of this House, of the Eighth of this Month: And that his Majesty had not only readily consented to give Leave, that this House should name Commissioners to distribute the Threescore thousand Pounds designed for such suffering Persons as faithfully served his Majesty, or his Royal Father; but also gave the House hearty Thanks for this Motion; and declared, that this Threescore thousand Pounds was intended by his Majesty, to such of the Loyal Party that had not, since his Majesty's Restauration, received any Reparation or Supply otherwise, and were in most Want.

Ordered, That it be referred to the Committee appointed to receive Proposals for the further Supply of such suffering Persons as had faithfully served his Majesty, or his Royal Father, to propose Commissioners to this House for the Distribution of the Threescore thousand Pounds, Part of the Eighteen Months Assessment, amongst the said Loyal Party; and to prepare and draw up Instructions for the said Commissioners to act by, and for the distinguishing what Persons are fittest to share in the Distribution of the said Monies.

Southwarke, &c. Court of Conscience.

A Bill for settling Commissioners to try Causes and Actions within Westminster, Southwarke, and Bills of Mortality, and Liberties and Precincts thereof, was this Day read the Second time.

The ingrossed Bill for ordering the Forces in the several Counties of this Kingdom, was this Day read the Third time.

A Proviso was tendered to be added to the said Bill: Which being twice read, and some Amendments agreed to be made therein; the same was accordingly done at the Clerk's Table. And the said Proviso, so amended, being read the Third time, was, upon the Question, agreed unto; and ordered to be made Part of the Bill.

Resolved, upon the Question, That the further Debate of the said Bill be adjourned, till Thursday Morning next; and be then resumed, at Nine of the Clock.

Hearth Tax.

Resolved, That the ingrossed Bill for laying an Imposition upon Hearths and Stoves, be read To-morrow Morning, at Nine of the Clock.

And then the House adjourned till To-morrow Morning, Eight of the Clock.
